Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The given two plans illustrate how people can access the city hospital by road in 2007 and 2010.
Overall, the city hospital has undergone significant redevelopment. The car parks for staff and public have been divided in two individual locations, which was combined in 2007. However, new construction of the roundabout observed in 2010, which were directly connected to the newly developed bus station.
Most of the hospital area was devoted to the combined car parking for the staff as well as people in the year 2007. There was a cross road on the southern side, while the city hospital located on the northern side.
By 2010, the facility has witnessed extensive redevelopment. The former car parking for the staff and public was replaced with the staff parking only. However, the public car parking has shifted on the north-east side. A two number roundabout was constructed between the city hospital and the city road. In addition, the previous car park on the west side has been turned into a bus station. Notably, the parking area has been expanded significantly in the year 2010.
