Overall, a route to the city hospital had changed considerably, where major renovations were observed in roundabout establishments. Other key features also include spacious public car park and seperate roadline for bus staion.
Initially in the year 2007, the hospital road was flanked by six bus stops passing through the same road. A car parking facilities were provided to both public and staff to its east side. However, three years later, multiple bus stops merged and standalone bus station was built in the west side connected to the roundabouts seperately.
On the other side of development, two roundabouts were built at both the junctions of the hospital road, linked with city road in the south east and the hospital road . Parking space reduced to only staff members at same place, moreover a seperate car park option was given to the east side of the city hospital.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The student covers all parts of the task well, providing an overview and describing the main features of the changes between 2007 and 2010. Key transformations such as the introduction of roundabouts, the reconfiguration of the bus stops into a standalone bus station, and changes to the car parks are clearly highlighted. For example, the writer notes that 'two roundabouts were built at both the junctions of the hospital road' and that parking 'reduced to only staff members at same place.' While the overview is slightly simplistic ('a route to the city hospital had changed considerably'), the main features are successfully selected, compared, and reported in line with the prompt requirements, satisfying the criteria for a Band 7.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response is organized into logical paragraphs, moving from an introductory overview to specific details regarding the layout changes. Cohesive devices are used to connect ideas, such as 'Initially in the year 2007' and 'However, three years later'. However, progression is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical cohesion, such as 'On the other side of development,' which sounds unnatural and slightly confusing in context. Paragraphing is adequate, but referencing and transitions could be smoother and more flexible to achieve a higher band. Overall, the essay maintains a clear logical flow throughout.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary suitable for an academic task, attempting less common items such as 'renovations', 'flanked', 'standalone', and 'reconfigured' (implied). However, there are several lexical errors and awkward word choices, including 'seperate roadline for bus staion', 'A car parking facilities' (incorrect article), and spelling errors like 'seperate'. While meaning is generally conveyed, these inaccuracies and spelling mistakes prevent the response from reaching a higher band. The vocabulary is sufficient for the task but lacks precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and introductory phrases (e.g., 'Initially in the year 2007, the hospital road was flanked by six bus stops...'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward structures, such as 'A route to the city hospital had changed considerably, where major renovations were observed' and 'A car parking facilities were provided'. Punctuation and preposition usage also show minor flaws (e.g., 'in the west side'). These errors do not impede communication, but they occur regularly enough to firmly place the grammar at a Band 6.0 level.
