Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this illustrated Maps represent the difference of city hospital passage way comparison from two different years that was 2007 and 2010 giving 3 years gap.
The Maps shows development of road access to a city hospital from 20047 to 2010.In 2007 we cleary see bus stop was far away from the city hospital and people who travel through public bus to reach in the hospital take more time and long way. Here private and staff car park has no seperate space both area right and left from the hospital road have common else in 2010 it shows the addition of bus stop attach the main hospital road and seperation of parking one for staff car park that is right side of hospital road and on the other hand public parking was connected to main hospital building.
It is notice in 2010 they have added three round about, one was little ahead from outside of staff car parking and mean while other two round about was constructed with in the primises of city hospital one was connecting with city road and other was connecting from previous round about towards main hcity hospital passing fron hospital road- bus station taht was leftside and staff car parking right side and upward connecting passageway with pbulic car parking.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify the two years and attempt to describe changes to parking, bus access and the road layout, so the response is relevant to the maps. However, the main features are only partly and sometimes inaccurately reported. For example, the 2007 bus stops were beside Hospital Road, not “far away,” and in 2010 they were replaced by a bus station; the public car park was added beside Ring Road, rather than connected to the hospital building. The description of “three round about” is also incorrect: the map shows two, at the junctions of Hospital Road with Ring Road and City Road. A clear overview of the principal changes, followed by accurate comparisons, would make the report more complete and developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the response begins with an introduction and refers to 2007 before discussing 2010. It also attempts to connect ideas with phrases such as “on the other hand” and “mean while.” However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because several changes are crowded into long, loosely connected sentences, and the final sentence gives a confusing sequence of locations. Paragraphing does not clearly separate an overview from the detailed comparisons. Some references, such as “they” and “other two,” are unclear or do not match the map. Use a short overview paragraph, then group the 2007 layout and the 2010 changes into clearly ordered points, with accurate linking and reference words.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “road access,” “car park,” “bus station” and “roundabout,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the description difficult to interpret, such as “hospital passage way,” “common else” and “upward connecting passageway.” Spelling errors, including “seperation,” “primises” and “pbulic,” also reduce clarity. Aim for precise map language and consistent labels: for example, describe a road as running between two junctions, and say that a facility is located to the east or west of Hospital Road. Check spelling and avoid using “private” when the map labels the parking as public.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt longer sentences and use time references to compare the maps, but complex structures are often faulty and errors frequently make relationships between features hard to understand. Examples include “The Maps shows,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “It is notice in 2010,” which has an incorrect verb form. Articles and sentence boundaries are also problematic, as in “one was little ahead from outside of staff car parking,” while the long final sentence lacks clear punctuation and a stable grammatical structure. Practise writing shorter, complete comparison sentences first, then combine them with accurate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles and punctuation during revision.
