overall, the hospital itself did not changed, the surroundings were changed by passing the time. a roundabout and a public car park was designed on southern and eastern sides of of the hospital.
in 2007, the hospital was surrounded by a ring road. A road called hospital road ran south from hopital to the city road. Along this road there were six bustops, three on each side. A car parking was located in east of the hospital road for both public and staff.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the main period of change and include several relevant details, such as the six bus stops in 2007 and the separation of staff and public parking by 2010. However, some key information is inaccurate or missing, which makes the account only partly complete. Hospital Road was not removed: it remained, with roundabouts added at its junctions with Ring Road and City Road. The bus stops were replaced by a bus station to the west of Hospital Road, not moved onto Ring Road. The overview also says a roundabout was built on the southern side of the hospital, although the changes were to the road junctions. Report the main changes more precisely and distinguish the two roundabouts and the bus station.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction and overview are followed by separate descriptions of 2007 and 2010. This makes the timeline easy to follow, and phrases such as “in 2007” and “by 2010” help signal the comparison. The overview also gives the reader a useful sense that the site changed. To make the progression more consistently clear, connect related changes and avoid presenting an inaccurate summary as the main transition. For example, explain that the bus stops were replaced by a bus station, then describe the roundabouts and parking changes. Some transitions are abrupt, and inconsistent capitalisation after full stops weakens the presentation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant map vocabulary, including “surrounded,” “located,” “connected,” and “separating,” and the reader can generally understand the locations and changes. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings are inaccurate, sometimes making details less clear. “Bustops” should be written as “bus stops,” while “a car parking” is not a natural way to refer to the facility; use “a car park.” “Designed” is also unsuitable for a constructed feature here; “built” or “added” is more precise. The repeated use of “built” and “road” could be balanced with terms such as “introduced,” “junction,” and “facility,” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You communicate the basic sequence using both simple sentences and some longer structures, such as “A road called hospital road ran south …” and “A car parking was located … for both public and staff.” However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries are noticeable. For example, “the hospital itself did not changed” should be “did not change,” and “a roundabout and a public car park was” needs a plural verb. The overview begins with a lowercase “overall,” and there is an extra full stop in “removed .” Work on accurate past-tense descriptions and checking subject–verb agreement; these corrections would make the account smoother without changing its basic structure.
