Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the main change from individual bus stops to a bus station and note the two roundabouts added along Hospital Road. You also mention the original shared car park and its later staff-only use. However, the overview that the hospital was connected with “many routes” is vague, and some details are inaccurate or unclear: the 2007 map shows Ring Road around the hospital’s north, west and east sides, rather than simply “in the north side”; in 2010, the public car park is accessed directly from Ring Road, not described as having a separate road on the east side of the hospital. The response covers the main stages but does not consistently report the locations and access changes precisely. A clearer overview and more accurate comparisons would strengthen the summary.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response follows a broadly sensible order: it describes the 2007 arrangement first and then explains the changes by 2010. The opening and the use of “Meanwhile” and “Furthermore” help signal this sequence. However, the information is compressed into one continuous block, and several ideas run together, as in “Three are eat side and three are west side.Hospital road…”. This makes the progression harder to follow. Some linking is mechanical, while references such as “it” in “it was replaced with a bus station” are not fully precise. Use separate paragraphs for the overview and each map, and connect each change explicitly to its location or earlier arrangement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant map vocabulary, including “bus stops,” “car parking area,” “roundabout,” and “staff and public,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “routes after upgradation,” “just link with one road,” and “behind the east bus stop.” Spelling errors including “eat” for “east” and “seprate” also reduce precision. Aim for standard map-description phrases such as “was connected to,” “was replaced by,” and “located to the east of.” More precise terms for access and location would help you describe the changes without ambiguity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts some longer sentences, for example, “Hospital road is also linked with city road and ring road is also in the north side,” but most structures are simple, and errors recur in verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation. Examples include “the bus stops was removed,” “one more roundabout build,” and “staff car park are remain there.” The present tense is also used for past map information (“city hospital is just link”), where past forms would be appropriate. Missing spaces after full stops and inconsistent sentence boundaries further affect readability. Practise accurate past-tense descriptions and subject–verb agreement, then combine short statements using controlled clauses.
