Overall,City hospital has retained the main areas , while added roundabout roads in between hospital road. Also, they divided the staff and public car park area.
In 2007, bus stop used to be in the southeast area then it shifted to the southwest area, in 2010, which is a significant change . Also , the added roundbout roads for the bus area, which is massive sturctural change. Public car park located beside the city hospital with wider space, where rest of the road shape remained same.As such , ring road and the hospital road are unchanged, in 2010.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You identify the broad changes between the maps, including the addition of roundabouts, the separation of staff and public parking, and the removal of individual bus stops. However, some details are inaccurate or unclear: the bus stops were not simply moved from the southeast to the southwest; they were replaced by a bus station west of Hospital Road. The public car park is beside Ring Road, not beside the hospital, and the road layout is not entirely unchanged because roundabouts were added at both ends of Hospital Road. The overview also makes unsupported claims that the 2010 layout is more convenient and has wider sectors. To strengthen the response, describe the locations and changes precisely and focus on the most significant comparisons.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening, an overview, details about the two layouts, and a concluding sentence. This gives the reader a coherent overall arrangement. Linking expressions such as “Overall,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude” help signal stages, but some connections are mechanical or do not clarify the relationship between ideas. For example, “In 2007, bus stop used to be in the southeast area then it shifted…” combines a comparison and a location claim that is difficult to follow. The conclusion repeats general judgements rather than summarising the main map changes. Grouping the information into clear comparisons—road access and bus facilities, then parking—would improve progression and make references easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant map vocabulary, including “layout,” “roundabout,” “car park,” “divided,” and “remained,” and you attempt to describe change with phrases such as “significant change” and “structural change.” However, several word choices are imprecise or unnatural for this task: “roundabout roads” is not the right term, “bus area” is vague, and “wider sectors” does not clearly describe the maps. There are also spelling errors, including “roundbout” and “sturctural,” and some repetition of general words such as “area” and “change.” Use precise location and change vocabulary, such as “to the west of,” “was replaced by,” and “was converted into,” to make the comparisons clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mix of sentence forms, including a contrast with “while” and longer sentences beginning with “Furthermore” and “As such.” However, control is uneven, and errors sometimes make the relationships between ideas difficult to understand. For example, “The two layouts below that illustrates” has incorrect clause structure and subject–verb agreement; “Overall,City hospital has retained…” also needs clearer punctuation and article use. In “Public car park located beside the city hospital,” the sentence is missing a verb, while “they divided the staff and public car park area” has an unclear subject. Practise forming complete sentences with accurate past-tense verbs and clear subjects, and check commas and spacing after punctuation.
