the diagram illustrates that road access to city hospital before 2007 and after 2010 .

in 2007 city hospital had 3 different road such as ring road, hospital road and city road . also city hospital had 6 different o bus stop where bus can bring passenger moreover they provide car park for stuff and public .

on the other hand , in 2007 city hospital reform the whole design previous time they had 3 link road but in this recent time whole stucture is changed for example thry separate the car parking for employe and public indivisually also rebuild bus station near the hospital road in addtion newly create roundabout roard for turning where people can easily move to the another road and main hospital has previous place middle of map .

in conclution , they reduce six bus bus stop and add only 1 bust stop in west side of the hospital . now the whole structure is more organized compare to before .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify the main changes: the bus stops were replaced by a bus station, parking was separated for staff and the public, and roundabouts were added. You also note that the hospital remained in the same central position. However, some details are inaccurate or unclear. The 2007 map shows six bus stops, but the 2010 map shows a bus station, not “only 1 bus stop.” The hospital had a ring road around its north, west and east sides, rather than simply “3 different road[s].” Your overview that the layout became more organised is relevant, but the comparison needs clearer, accurate reporting of where the new public car park and bus station are located.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: it introduces the maps, describes the earlier layout, compares the later changes, and ends with a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic progression. However, the organisation within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several changes are packed into long sentences, particularly the section beginning “on the other hand.” Linking phrases such as “moreover,” “for example,” and “in conclusion” are used, but some connections are mechanical or do not clearly show the relationship between details. Improve cohesion by grouping related changes—for example, bus access and parking separately—and using clear references to the 2007 and 2010 maps throughout.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for describing maps, including “road access,” “car park,” “bus station,” “roundabout,” and “west side.” These terms show an attempt to report specific features rather than relying entirely on general language. However, the range is limited, and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make parts of the description hard to interpret, such as “3 different o bus stop,” “reform the whole design,” and “turning roard.” Some expressions are also imprecise: “link road” does not clearly describe the roads shown. Build a more accurate map vocabulary, including terms such as “was converted into,” “was relocated,” and “direct access,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can generally identify the main changes. However, control of sentence structure is uneven, especially in the long comparison beginning “on the other hand,” where clauses run together and punctuation does not clearly separate the ideas. There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals, and verb forms, as in “city hospital had 6 different … bus stop” and “they separate the car parking.” Capitalisation and sentence boundaries are inconsistent, too. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then combine related ideas using accurate conjunctions. This will make your comparisons easier to understand while allowing you to retain some complex structures.
