Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, people move to another for many purposes like education, tour and medical facilities. Staying a country where you have to speake non-native language can effect serious practical problems and social problems. I totally agree with this statement beacuse people may not find suitable job and they cannot talk to local people.
Living in a foreign country without knowing their language, it is difficult to live this country. In other words, people cannot communicate with local people or buy anything from the local shop. Consequently, they may feel loneliness and miss their family. Additionally, when local people talk to them, they feel nervous. As a result, they feel afraid and lost their confidence. Bangladeshi students, for example, move foreign country for higher education, they first think about language. Therefore, they cannot focus their class.
Without geather non-native language, people face difficulties such as job, tour. When they have to stay long time their, they try to find a suitable jobs. But they cannot find if easily due to many company hire only experience of their language. Consequently, they cannot stay their peacefully. Moreover, not only many students move their but also work person move their for study or work. Maybe some people sell their land or borrow money from other person for moving this country. As a result, they think how to repay their money to the owner and give money to their parents. They may want to how to find any job such as restuarant job or cleaning job. Though they are highly educated, they still take low-paying jobs to make a living.
In conclusion, without knowing abroad language is difficult for social and practical. I think evey person learn foreign language before going this country. Therefore, they live peacefully and find best jobs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you totally agree that living where a foreign language is spoken can create both social and practical problems. You address both sides of the prompt, describing isolation and nervousness in social situations, as well as difficulty finding work. The examples about Bangladeshi students and migrants who take low-paid jobs are relevant. However, several points are asserted rather than explained: for instance, the link between language difficulty and students’ inability to focus in class needs more detail, and the discussion of borrowing money and repaying parents is not clearly connected to language barriers. Develop fewer ideas with clearer explanations and specific examples so the response addresses the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Paragraphing also broadly separates social difficulties from employment and financial concerns. You use linking expressions such as “Consequently,” “Additionally,” and “Moreover” to show relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some links feel mechanical or do not establish a clear connection. For example, the move from students’ language concerns to borrowing money and repaying parents is abrupt. Repeated references to “they” and “their” can also make it difficult to identify who is being discussed. Organise each paragraph around one main point and use clearer references and transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “communicate,” “local people,” “suitable job,” “higher education,” and “low-paying jobs.” Some phrases, such as “miss their family” and “make a living,” help convey the effects of migration. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to follow. Examples include “move to another,” “without geather non-native language,” “find if easily,” and “restuarant job.” Repetition of “foreign country,” “language,” and “job” also limits precision. Build a bank of accurate phrases for language barriers, employment and social isolation, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “when,” “though” and “as a result,” and the reader can generally understand your main message. However, the range is limited, and attempts at longer sentences often contain errors that make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “Bangladeshi students, for example, move foreign country for higher education, they first think about language” joins clauses incorrectly, while “I think every person learn foreign language” has an agreement error. Articles, verb forms and sentence construction also need attention, as in “Living in a foreign country without knowing their language, it is difficult to live this country.” Practise accurate simple sentences before combining them into complex ones.
