Student answer (Band 6.5)
In the linguistic world, people often have to face various social problems, as well as practical circumstances while leaving in abroad or foreign country. In this essay, I will be demonstrating problems faced by students or working staff who are facing communication problems due to foreign lanuage.
To begin with, students and work staff who commute to foreign countries majorly face circumstances like language barrier, leaving expenses, different culture, and completely new education sytem. For Instance, Nowadays many new individuals who are living in countries like Newzealand, Australia, USA, UK and other popular countries face difficulties in communication as British language or foreign language has not their been part of their mother tounge, In result when they speak to local students or peoples they may not be fimiliar with their fluency with their local language.
Second most common social problems Indian students face is Job related problems. However, pupils need to work with diverse working professional who are coming from different countries and culture. For example, Most people work in coffe shops, hotels, where there should be strong command on foreign language is required as coffe shops or hotels should have many local customers and non foreign people must need to communicate with them so individual must need to adapt foreign language fluency.
In addition, practical problems which non foreign people need to face is different currency, leaving expense, new education system as many are students so this are the common real life problems faced by Indian peoples. But after that they used to with foreign culture and cope up with daily hurdles.
In my opinion, It is difficult for Indian peoples to adapt new culture. However, I believe people get use to.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing social and practical problems associated with living in a foreign-language environment. However, the development is somewhat uneven. While you identify relevant points like communication barriers and employment challenges, the arguments are often repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the discussion on 'job-related problems' focuses heavily on coffee shops and hotels without exploring broader professional or social implications. The position is clear, but the supporting examples are somewhat anecdotal and limited to the Indian student experience, which narrows the scope of the essay. To improve, ensure each paragraph develops a distinct, well-supported idea rather than listing similar points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly inaccurate. For example, the transition 'In result' is non-standard, and the use of 'However' in the second paragraph does not logically contrast with the preceding sentence. Additionally, referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'this are the common real life problems', where the pronoun 'this' lacks a clear antecedent. While there is a logical progression from social to practical issues, the flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed, which hinders the overall coherence of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You rely on basic terms like 'problems', 'difficulties', and 'foreign language' repeatedly. There are also several word-choice errors and spelling mistakes, such as 'leaving' instead of 'living', 'lanuage', 'sytem', and 'tounge'. Some collocations are unnatural, such as 'British language' (referring to English) and 'non foreign people'. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary and ensuring correct spelling and collocation, which will help convey your ideas with greater clarity and impact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'foreign language has not their been part of their mother tounge'), article usage, and sentence construction. For example, the sentence 'Most people work in coffe shops, hotels, where there should be strong command on foreign language is required' is grammatically cluttered and confusing. Punctuation is also problematic, with inconsistent capitalization and comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of grammatical errors limits the overall effectiveness of the writing.
