People who often move to another country often need to learn foreign language. I fully agreed with this it created a critical social and practical problems like communication barriers, lack of confidence, and difficult in adjusting new neighbour's.

To commence with reasons of social problem of people at foreign country. Firstly, because of language barrier they cannot communicate confidently. Moreover, they have difficulty to make friends and neighbours. It leads to loneliness and alone so many students feel depressed due to study workload. For examples, many international students need time to adjust in foreign culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both social and practical problems associated with living in a foreign country. However, the essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of the arguments. While the position is clear, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks specific, well-elaborated examples. For instance, the mention of 'international students' is a good starting point, but it is not expanded upon sufficiently to fully explore the social impact. To improve, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and concrete examples to meet the length requirement and demonstrate a more thorough exploration of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'On the other hand'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'For examples' (should be 'For example') and 'However, these problems makes small' (which is awkward phrasing). The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the transitions between sentences could be smoother. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, unified focus.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task but remains quite basic. You use some relevant topic-specific terms like 'communication barriers', 'foreign culture', and 'fluency', but there is a lack of variety and some word-choice errors. For example, you use 'loneliness and alone' (repetitive) and 'makes small' instead of 'diminish' or 'become less significant'. There are also minor errors in word formation, such as 'adjusting difficulty' instead of 'difficulty adjusting'. To improve, try to incorporate more precise synonyms and collocations to express your ideas more naturally and effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading, such as 'I fully agreed with this it created' (run-on sentence), 'difficult in adjusting new neighbour's' (incorrect preposition and possessive), and 'they cannot able to speak' (double modal error). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also inconsistent. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors prevents a higher score. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of modal verbs.
