Student answer (Band 6.0)
It has been observed that living in a country where you have to speak oversea language can make critical public problem, as well as practical problem. Although some people believe that foreign language can cause social problem. I firmly agree with there statement. My inclination is elaborated in ensuring paragraph and relevant example.
The foremost argument to justify my stand is that Firstly, Difficulty in making friends Example: if you go abroad for visiting, business are for education purpose. You need to speak there national language if you do not speak you have to face difficulty in making friends. Secondly, problem in daily life. Example you have to face difficulty while travelling going to bank went for shopping as well as you go to hospital.
Furthermore, the other reasons to prove my point is problem in education and employment. Example: when you do not know the language you have face difficulty while studying and finding a job's.
Moreover, I think that if a person can learn English it can be very help full for the person in abroad because English is an international language and you can spoke it any where in the world. It can be very help full for the persons in their daily life. Specially for the students who go abroad for their education.
To conclude the discussion, it can be said that despite the fact of foreign language can cause serious problem can be write. I am fully in the supported the people how said this. I am fully agree with their statement.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by agreeing that living in a foreign country causes social and practical problems. However, the development of ideas is limited. The essay relies on lists of examples (e.g., 'travelling', 'bank', 'shopping') rather than explaining the underlying social or practical implications in depth. The introduction is somewhat repetitive and contains awkward phrasing, such as 'make critical public problem'. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments lack the necessary elaboration to reach a higher band. The conclusion is also somewhat disjointed and repetitive, failing to synthesize the arguments effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay uses basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Furthermore', which provide a mechanical structure. However, the paragraphing is problematic; the second paragraph is a list of points rather than a cohesive argument. The transition between ideas is often abrupt, and the referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the final paragraph where the sentence structure breaks down. The logical progression is present but simplistic, and the overall flow is hindered by the lack of sophisticated linking words or varied sentence transitions.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'oversea language' instead of 'foreign language', 'make critical public problem' instead of 'cause serious social problems', and 'help full' instead of 'helpful'. The student struggles to use precise terminology, often relying on basic, functional language. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of variety and the frequent errors in word formation and collocation prevent the response from reaching a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people how said'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'you can spoke it'), and punctuation errors. The sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when attempting complexity. For example, 'despite the fact of foreign language can cause serious problem can be write' is grammatically incoherent. While the student attempts to use complex structures, they are often faulty, leading to a lack of control over grammar and punctuation.
