Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the required word count of 250 words, which severely limits your ability to develop your ideas. While you state your position clearly in the introduction, the essay is incomplete and cuts off abruptly mid-sentence. Because the response is less than half the required length, it fails to address the task fully. To improve, you must ensure you provide a full introduction, at least two well-developed body paragraphs with supporting examples, and a clear conclusion. You need to expand on your points rather than just mentioning them briefly.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay lacks a clear structure due to its incomplete nature. While there is an attempt at an introduction, the lack of a full body paragraph and conclusion makes it impossible to assess your ability to organize ideas logically or use cohesive devices effectively. The transition between the introduction and the first point is mechanical. To improve, focus on using linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' to connect your ideas, and ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence followed by supporting details.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

Your vocabulary is basic and contains several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'now days' (nowadays) and 'county' (country). You rely on simple phrasing, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'integration', 'linguistic barriers', or 'social isolation'. Focus on learning collocations and ensuring your spelling is accurate to avoid distracting the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

There are frequent grammatical errors, including issues with sentence structure, punctuation, and subject-verb agreement. For example, 'this essay is agree' should be 'this essay agrees', and 'the is and foremost' is unclear. The sentence fragments and lack of proper punctuation hinder the flow of your writing. To improve, practice writing complete, error-free sentences before attempting more complex structures. Focus on basic grammar rules, such as verb forms and article usage, to ensure your meaning is clear.
