Student answer (Band 4.5)
First of all i am disscused the major fact if we learn a foregin language thats good but in our
society mostly people speak local langauge of our country. I am agree to that speaking a foregin language can cause serious social problem as well as partical problem in a country where we live because majorty of the people thought not good about foregin language. In my country, mostly public donot want to learnt international languages because they are odinary minded. Most of them are thought that it not necessary for life but those people who want to learn are mently distrubed about the public piont of view. I was remembered that one my friend decieded to learn english and everyone tease him not to learn english because they called that it is aganist their local language who they basically speaking. when he was tried to talk in english everyone hated him and at the end he left to speak english.
This type of matter are held on those society where pepole are uneducated and not know the value of a knowledge. In educated society people aperciated those person who learnt different languages.
In my experience, those society who tried the different culture are higly success because the know the whole trend of the world

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address the prompt by discussing social and practical problems, the arguments are underdeveloped and rely on anecdotal evidence rather than a broader analysis. The position is clear, but the lack of depth and the brevity of the response prevent a higher score. To improve, you must expand your points with more detailed explanations and examples to ensure the essay is fully developed and meets the length requirement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. Transitions between ideas are often missing or mechanical, such as the abrupt shift between the anecdote about your friend and the conclusion. The use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes inaccurate, which makes the flow of the argument feel disjointed. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') to connect your sentences and paragraphs more fluidly.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'disscused' instead of 'discussing', 'partical' instead of 'practical', and 'mently distrubed' instead of 'mentally disturbed'. These errors occasionally make the meaning difficult to follow. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary and focus on using words that are appropriate for an academic context, while also paying closer attention to spelling and collocation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that impede communication. Issues include incorrect verb tenses ('I am disscused', 'he was tried'), subject-verb agreement ('This type of matter are held'), and sentence structure. The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with errors. To improve, you should practice basic sentence construction, ensure consistent verb tenses, and work on subject-verb agreement. Focusing on accuracy in simple sentences before attempting complex ones will help you build a stronger foundation.
