begin with, there are several challenges for migrant people who move to abroad and one of the main challenging is communication barriers. Many people study before moving to different nation, so they have limited knowledge. Once, they settle there they face difficulties in understanding their culture, tradition, accent and so on. Similarly, it takes time for them to adopt it. Even in the workplace it is difficult for to communicate. Even though, there will be social problems due to unfamiliar culture and tradition.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both social and practical problems associated with living in a foreign country. However, the essay is under the 250-word minimum, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. The conclusion is incomplete, cutting off mid-sentence, which prevents a full summary of the argument. While the position is clear, the supporting points, such as the example regarding South Korea, are somewhat repetitive and lack the depth required for a higher band. To improve, you must ensure you meet the word count and provide a fully developed conclusion that synthesizes your main points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay uses basic paragraphing, but the logical flow is hindered by the incomplete ending. While some cohesive devices like 'For instance' and 'Additionally' are used, they are sometimes applied mechanically. The transition between ideas is occasionally abrupt, and the lack of a finished conclusion disrupts the overall progression of the argument. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects back to the main thesis. Furthermore, ensure your essay structure is complete to maintain coherence until the very end.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'moving to abroad' (should be 'moving abroad') and 'vary nation' (should be 'foreign nations'). The repetition of words like 'culture' and 'tradition' limits the lexical variety. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms and collocations. For example, instead of 'serious consequences', you could use 'significant repercussions' or 'formidable challenges'. Focus on learning word families to avoid grammatical errors in word choice.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'different challenging may face' (should be 'different challenges may be faced') and 'unless there is fluent in talking' (should be 'unless one is fluent'). There is a reliance on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors in subject-verb agreement or word order. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction before attempting more complex structures. Pay close attention to the use of articles and prepositions, as these are consistent areas of error throughout your writing.
