Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both social and practical problems, and it presents a clear position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding technology as a solution is quite simplistic and lacks depth. The essay touches on the main points but does not fully explore the implications of the language barrier in a sophisticated way. The conclusion is brief and does not effectively summarize the main arguments or restate the position clearly. To improve, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and concrete examples that illustrate the 'serious social problems' mentioned in the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'In addiction' (likely meant 'In addition') and 'Due to, people life is unstable'. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the logical progression within paragraphs could be smoother. While the essay is coherent overall, the frequent errors in linking words and referencing make the flow feel disjointed at times. Improving the variety and accuracy of your transition signals will help your ideas connect more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'articulated in the forthcoming paragraph' (which is overly formal for the context) and 'falling due to the language barrier' (should be 'declining' or 'decreasing'). Additionally, there are spelling errors like 'childrean' and 'langauge'. While the meaning is generally clear, the limited range of vocabulary prevents a more nuanced discussion of the topic.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('people want to speak', 'any individuals didn't interact'), incorrect verb forms ('will faced struggle', 'would be use'), and missing articles or prepositions. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is usually understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar structures suggests that more practice with sentence construction and proofreading is necessary to reach a higher band.
