Student answer (Band 5.0)
These days, many people of different countries are interested to learn foreign languages wich increase their interpersonal skills. Some poeple think that social and practical problems are created by another countery language. I completely disagree with this plan and in this essay i will support my opinion with example.
Firstly, foreign language maintain your own perosnality. For example, another language give a chance to developed your business as newpapaper translator or can opened your language schools like Japnese, German and so on. I believe it should be to continue because it increase the busniess purposes which increase our country economy.
Secondly, I agree with this because of those students who studying abroad. For example, In Italy many students from different countires come for studying but only those students have more exccess to achieve admission which have an italian language certifcate and in the case for German. Speak a foreign language also help to many students who are intresed to study in foreign country.
On the other hand, this is an argument that pupils are forgot its mother tongue to learn another language and went to another country where the native language not used. Moreover, many people lose their original accent due to large gap of speaking.
In conclusion, it is a a common belief that another language are not causing problems in practical and social life hence, it increasing the jobs rate as well as giving a chance to tudents to study abroad.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which negatively impacts the task achievement score. While you attempt to address the prompt, your position is inconsistent; in the introduction, you state you 'completely disagree', but in the second paragraph, you write 'I agree with this', which creates confusion regarding your stance. The ideas are under-developed and lack sufficient logical support. For instance, the argument about business opportunities is vague and does not directly address the 'social and practical problems' mentioned in the prompt. To improve, ensure your position is clear throughout and provide more detailed, relevant examples that directly answer the question.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is hampered by contradictory statements and unclear transitions. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as using 'Secondly, I agree with this' when you previously stated you disagreed. The referencing is occasionally confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning. To improve, focus on using transition words more effectively to link your ideas logically and ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, clear point that supports your overall argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, with frequent spelling errors such as 'wich', 'poeple', 'countery', 'perosnality', 'newpapaper', 'busniess', and 'tudents'. These errors, combined with awkward phrasing like 'increase the busniess purposes', indicate a restricted range of vocabulary. You rely on basic words and struggle to use more sophisticated or precise language to express your ideas. To improve, focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic words and practice using collocations—words that naturally go together—to make your writing sound more natural and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('another language give', 'it increasing'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or contain errors that occasionally impede communication, such as 'only those students have more exccess to achieve admission which have an italian language certifcate'. The range of structures is limited, and there is little evidence of complex sentence control. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of relative clauses before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
