Student answer (Band 5.5)

Now a days, many citizens whether they are students or professionalists, need to leave their own country for the seek of a rewarding career or higher studies. Consequently they are forcefully suppose to conversate in the language of that respective country, which is new to them and this may raise numerous serious social problems, such as failiure to mix with peers, hesitation and difficulty in adapting the culture, and multiple practicle problems, i.e. difficulty in buying necessities from market or talking to any visa officer in any government sector or difficulty to follow the professor in the classroom, becuase they are not much fluent in that foreign language.

In this essay we will discuss about "are these really the problems, which can not be resolved" I firmly believe that these issues are fully depend upon how a person deal with them. For instance, a student, who just moved abroad for higher studies. No doubt, for the first time he will hesitate to approach other national students, but he can tackle this by pushing himself out of box and starting a new conversation to any of the national student. As a result within sometime his hesitaion will disappear and after a certain time he will also become professional of the langauge of that country.

At the same time, researches show that facing practical problem is one of the major concern for foreigners. Beacuse when they need to deal with official tasks, which are no more optional to them, for example talking to institute's administartion for any query. They usually fail to convay their message properly.

In conlusion, I would say, no doubt foreigners face both practical as well as social problems when they are forced to conversate in international language, other than theri motherlanguage. But if they use a proper startegy, which can be not limiting theirsleves, they can cope with these issues in best way possible.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by acknowledging both social and practical problems and providing a personal stance. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention specific examples like 'difficulty in buying necessities' or 'hesitation to approach other national students', the arguments remain at a surface level. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'why' and 'how' of these issues with more detailed explanations or nuanced examples. The position is clear, but the essay structure feels slightly repetitive in the conclusion, which could be more effectively used to synthesize your main points rather than just restating them.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Consequently', 'For instance', and 'At the same time'. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the phrasing 'In this essay we will discuss about'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, and the paragraphing could be improved by ensuring each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed theme. The flow between sentences is generally functional but lacks the sophisticated linking required for higher bands.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'rewarding career', 'necessities', and 'administration'. However, there are several instances of non-standard word choices or incorrect collocations, such as 'professionalists' (professionals), 'conversate' (converse), 'practicle' (practical), and 'professional of the language' (proficient in the language). Spelling errors are also frequent, including 'failiure', 'becuase', 'convay', 'conlusion', and 'startegy'. These errors do not completely impede communication, but they do limit the precision and sophistication of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, they often contain grammatical inaccuracies, such as 'they are forcefully suppose to' (supposed to) and 'these issues are fully depend upon' (depend). There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage throughout the text. Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the frequency of errors in basic grammar structures prevents the writing from being considered highly accurate. To improve, focus on mastering verb forms and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed with correct grammatical markers.
