Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people believe that living in foreign country and having difficulty in speaking its language can creates social problem as well as practical problem.I agree with this thinking approach as it is one of the biggest problem that is faced by everyone who has not much language proficiency of that foreign country.
First of all,one who can not speak that language have not his friends and he will have social circle zero.Social development is necessary in this era as it is requirement of a day. That person will face stress and can not share his problems to anyone at all.For example my uncle last year went Finland last year. They were not aware about finnish language. They faced much problems like social and practical until they learned it in 5to6 months.
The second problem that one face is practical problem,he has no language idea and he can not tell about his job and can not get job there as well.Getting not job there creates the problems of future and that is very stressing condition. For example my uncle faced problem in getting job in earlier month in Finland until they learnt Finnish langiuage in time.
The third prpoblem that one face is social problem. H can not involve in there paries and can not enjoy his life well there. For example,on of my friend went Italy last year,he also faced this cultural poblem there for muvh time until he learnt Italian in one year.
Overall the language learning is much ncessary for foreign country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by agreeing that living in a foreign country without language proficiency causes social and practical problems. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments are repetitive, particularly the focus on the uncle's experience in Finland, which is used to support both social and practical points. The essay lacks depth and fails to explore the nuances of the issue, such as the impact on mental health or the long-term integration process. While the position is clear, the supporting ideas are underdeveloped and rely heavily on personal anecdotes rather than broader analysis, which is expected in an Academic Task 2 essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and repetitive, such as starting paragraphs with 'First of all', 'The second problem', and 'The third problem'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, for example, the shift between singular 'one' and plural 'they' when referring to the uncle. While there is an attempt at paragraphing, the internal structure of the paragraphs is disjointed, and the ideas do not flow smoothly from one to the next. The conclusion is very brief and does not effectively summarize the main points.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and often repetitive. Phrases like 'social problem', 'practical problem', and 'language' are used repeatedly throughout the text. There are several spelling errors, such as 'poblem', 'muvh', 'ncessary', and 'langiuage', which occasionally distract the reader. The range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little evidence of an attempt to use less common or more precise lexical items. To improve, you should focus on using synonyms and more sophisticated collocations to express your ideas more clearly and professionally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that impede the flow of reading. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'one who can not speak... have not his friends'), article usage (e.g., 'went Finland'), and tense consistency. Sentence structures are predominantly simple, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors, such as 'Getting not job there creates the problems of future'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band score.
