Student answer (Band 5.5)
Living in a country where people speak different language can cause serious social and practical problems and I agree with this statement. Language barrier ultimately leads being misunderstood sometimes and leading difficulty in everyday life.
Living in a Country where people speak different language is quite difficult to survive for time being you do not learn it. For example, when people do not know the language they will not be able to study, work and build relationships with their colleagues. It will be hard to assimilate with local population and will ultimately lead to being left alone and depressed. Workplace environment will become challenging and will be difficult to understand the problems.
The language problem is serious and if we do not take it as that it is then we will ultimately fail in that specific country. For example if a person can not understand a language it will become difficult for him to interact with a doctor and it can lead to serious health repercussions.
Language barrier is often hard to overcome but it is achievable if people learn the language with consistency and interact with their fellows on workplace. Now a days there are mobile applications available with the help of we can learn basics of a language very easily.
The conclusion from the above is that it is quite challenging to live in country where you cannot speak the native language, but with hard work and dedication we can overcome the language barrier and make our life better by assimilating with local culture and people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by acknowledging both social and practical problems. The position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention workplace challenges and health issues, these points are not fully extended with detailed examples or deeper analysis. The essay tends to repeat the idea of 'difficulty' rather than exploring the nuances of the social impact. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more specific, well-developed examples and ensure that the link between the language barrier and the resulting problems is explained with greater depth and clarity.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally repetitive (e.g., starting multiple sentences with 'The...'). Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'if we do not take it as that it is', which lacks a clear antecedent. While the paragraphing is appropriate, the transition between ideas could be smoother to improve the overall flow and coherence of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'assimilate', 'repercussions', and 'dedication'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there are instances of awkward phrasing or word choice, such as 'for time being you do not learn it' and 'interact with their fellows on workplace'. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and a wider variety of topic-specific vocabulary to express your ideas with more sophistication and naturalness.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Examples include missing articles ('in Country', 'on workplace'), incorrect verb forms ('leads being misunderstood'), and awkward sentence construction ('with the help of we can learn'). While these errors do not completely prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to affect the overall quality of the writing. Increasing your control over basic grammar, particularly articles and prepositions, will significantly improve your score.
