Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this continuously advancing world, everyone prefers to live in a well-structured country which have fast bureaucracy and good international reputation. But not even a single one provides you with everything you wish of. Sometimes the country have low wages but have excellent potential in living standards and oftenly some have high salaries but do not show good results in human development index. One of these hurdles is the local language of that country where you plan to live and that is the most challenging one though if you are not willing to learn that language. In this essay, I will discuss about the set backs of the foreign living journey because of the language of that country.
Body paragraph 1: The language of a country is a representation of its people and an identity of their ancestors. Language is the fundamental requirement of living with the people that speak it. We cannot adjust with local communities and societies if we lack preferred linguistic skills. The people that migrate to a new country that have different cultures and people find it hard to communicate with others due to lack of knowledge in language. There are many studies that suggest people must acquire basic linguistic knowledge of the foreign nation they are planning to move.
Body paragraph 2: People often relocate to a absolute different part of world for better opportunities but when they lack basic speaking and addressing skills they face a lot of social and practical difficulties and are left behind in carrier or studies. They may fail their interviews or they may not satisfy their customers for their services. So, if you do not sound native you will be left behind in your duties.
Conclusion: It is globally If someone moves to a new country it is an important task of aquiring those linguistic skills needed for that country. It is recognized that having little or no knowledge of native language of a foreign country leads to many social and practical challenges. I firmly agree with this statement that immigrants with no speaking skills required for that region, face practical and social difficulties.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding social and practical difficulties are relevant, though they remain somewhat general. For instance, the mention of 'carrier' (career) and 'interviews' provides a practical example, but the development could be more nuanced. The introduction clearly states the writer's stance, and the conclusion reinforces it. To reach a higher band, the ideas should be more thoroughly extended with specific, concrete examples rather than relying on broad statements about 'studies' or 'ancestors'.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is logically organized into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive. For example, the transition 'So, if you do not sound native' is a bit simplistic. Additionally, there are some awkward phrasing choices, such as 'In this continuously advancing world', which acts as a somewhat generic opening. The flow between sentences is generally clear, but the logical progression could be smoother with more sophisticated linking words.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors or non-standard collocations, such as 'fast bureaucracy' (efficient bureaucracy), 'oftenly' (often), and 'absolute different' (absolutely different). The student attempts to use some academic vocabulary like 'linguistic skills' and 'human development index', which is positive, but the overall range is limited. More attention to collocations and avoiding informal phrasing would improve the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues like 'country which have' (country which has) and 'country have low wages' (countries have low wages). There are also errors in word forms, such as 'aquiring' (acquiring) and 'carrier' instead of 'career'. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. More careful proofreading for basic agreement and spelling is needed.
