Student answer (Band 5.5)

Living a life in a country where every individual have to speak foreign language is very difficult for them it cause several social amd practical issues such as in business deals, markets, and in community. I strongly agree with this notion because it creates dilemma for people and make their life problematic. All the cause and their effects will be discussed in the forthcoming paragraphs with valid examples.

To commence with, living in country that required to speak only foreign languages such as English, Spanish, German is very hard to speak in everyday life for other countries people. Although when people very less know about this language that creates several problems for them. To explain further, when individuals go to market and want to purchase something but they do not know how to tell and how to ask, then feel anxiety and unconfident. It results in they could not purchase the things due to language barrier. For example, Indian people could not talk german and other language so they do not like to cisit and stay there. Therefore, speaking other language in the country is creates practical problems of daily life.

Furthermore, despite knowing other language and dealing with social problems is one of the biggest dilemma. When people from India go to China and they want to talk their neighbours, due to language barrier they could not understand what is teh other person wants to tell them, so its creates social problems. people could not socialize with peers, coligues and neighbours. However, some local people make their fun it results in reduction in socialism. For example, a survey conducted by the University of London indicates that almost 60 percent of people could not understand other languages, because when they want to speak language they may feel struggle and other make their fun.

To recapitulate, although leaning and speaking multiple language is predominantly important, I believe that all countries should use their national language to speak communicate in their country. Consequently, it will not create any social and practical problems in perticular country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The student addresses all parts of the task by taking a clear position and discussing both social and practical problems associated with speaking a foreign language in a country. The ideas presented are relevant, such as difficulties in markets and socializing with neighbors, though they tend to be somewhat repetitive and under-developed. For instance, the example of Indian people visiting China is used to illustrate social issues, but the explanation remains basic. While the position is clear throughout, the support for the arguments could be extended further to reach a higher band level. Therefore, this performance meets the criteria for Band 6.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt at paragraphing introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is often faulty or mechanical. Words and phrases like 'To commence with', 'To explain further', and 'To recapitulate' are used, but referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'when people very less know about this language that creates several problems'. The logical progression is interrupted by repetitive phrasing and awkward transitions between ideas, particularly in the second body paragraph. Paragraphing is present, but overall the organizational structure suffers from mechanical linking devices, placing it firmly in the Band 5 to 6 range.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'dilemma', 'predominantly important', and 'language barrier'. However, there are frequent word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors that impede communication at times, such as 'amd' instead of 'and', 'cisit' instead of 'visit', 'teh' instead of 'the', and 'coligues' instead of 'colleagues'. Furthermore, phrases like 'other make their fun' instead of 'others make fun of them' show limited lexical control. The vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic meaning, but recurring inaccuracies limit the score to a Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as 'Although when people very less know about this language that creates several problems for them.' However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('every individual have', 'speaking other language in the country is creates'), tense inconsistencies, and missing articles. These persistent errors often cause difficulty for the reader and obscure the intended meaning. Because complex sentences frequently contain faults and grammatical accuracy is inconsistent, the writing aligns best with the Band 5 descriptors.
