Student answer (Band 5.5)
Living in a foreign country where you are unfamiliar with the environment can cause a person inconvenience .From talking to others to pursuing your daily tasks an individual definitely find it difficult to connect with surroundings. In my view, this leads to social predicaments, if a person is unfamiliar with the language.
Uncanny or even normal events at a place in other country require at least basic knowledge of the language.Although, the beginners always have the know how of the new areas' language but this can still limit their communication with the foreign citizens . For example, a student who has come abroad know the simple sentences for conversations in the foreign language . However, he lacks the ability to socialize with the natives due to inadequate lingual qualification.
Furthermore, the people who are visiting the country for a longer period in order to meet their job requiremnets or other domestic dealings, have less knowledge of the native language. They can encounter numerous problems whether they are at their offices or in their neighbour-hoods .For instance, a work-forced man who has come abroad to support his family financially has to communicate with his coworkers.Being a collegue he has to struggle to learn a completely new language thoroughly. If he has planned to live there permanently, he will be needing to come over this issue in order to survive in the country .
Therefore, in my perspective the summary would be straight forward that every human needs the other in his life and being comprehensible in communication is the key to better interaction and a friendly talk. This eliminates the chances of misunderstandings and uncertain clashes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The student addresses the prompt by discussing both social and practical problems associated with living in a foreign country without knowing the language, clearly stating their position in the introduction. Ideas are generally relevant, such as the challenges faced by students and working professionals. However, the development of these ideas tends to be slightly repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the example of the student who knows simple sentences but lacks the ability to socialize is a bit brief and could be extended with more specific consequences. Similarly, the points regarding the worker could be better elaborated. Overall, the response meets the requirements for a Band 6 as it addresses all parts of the task, though some aspects are under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance established early on. Paragraphing is utilised to separate the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, cohesive devices are sometimes faulty or mechanical, and spacing punctuation is frequently neglected, such as missing spaces after periods and commas (e.g., 'inconvenience .From talking', 'surroundings. In my view'). Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, and logical progression between sentences can be disjointed. The conclusion summarizes the main ideas, but the flow is hindered by mechanical errors in punctuation and transition.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common phrases such as 'social predicaments', 'inadequate lingual qualification', and 'domestic dealings'. However, there are noticeable inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'work-forced man' instead of 'manual worker' or 'employee', and 'he will be needing to come over this issue' instead of 'overcome this issue'. Spelling and word-form errors, like 'requiremnets' and 'neighbour-hoods', appear throughout the text. While communication is not severely impeded, these lexical limitations place the writing firmly in the Band 6 category.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing structures like 'Although, the beginners always have...' and 'If he has planned to live there permanently...'. However, there are frequent grammatical errors and punctuation flaws, particularly missing spaces after punctuation marks and misuse of articles and prepositions. Examples of errors include 'a student who has come abroad know' (subject-verb agreement), 'know the simple sentences' (unnecessary comma and awkward phrasing), and 'every human needs the other in his life'. While complex sentences are attempted, they often contain minor structural inaccuracies, making Band 5.5 a fair representation of grammatical control.
