IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Living in a country where you have to speak a foreign language can cause serious social problems, as well as practical problems.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Living in a nation where we have to talk a foreign language can cause very challenging social problems, and same as practical problems.I completely agree with the above notion and in the forthcomping paragraphs I have supported my stand with reasonable justification.

First of all taking into the agreement side, first and foremost reason is that to living in a country, there people have to speak foreign language can makes social problems in the language barrier.And they can cannot speak foreign language because they use their native language in their daily life and they cannot have practice of learning the different foreign languages.

Furthermore, the another reason is that they have to face social problems like communicating with each other for their work related issues.They cannot make friends easily because they cannot speak very well. For instance, My friend who had faced problem in communication, that is she go for buying clothes and the big problem of communicattion is that the owner can only speak in english language while she doesn't speak and understand anyother languages except Gujarati.So she had faced that problem through the technology use by translating slowly to the owner's script.

In addition, living in a nation where people have to speak foreign language can also cause a challenging problem in practical.Prcatical problems in the several factors such as in education, hospital and for ordering some food from online websites like as zomato, blinkit and swiggy. Through this people can face for learning new things at school and colleges.Apart from that, In hospitals, patient cannot get proper treatment but they can use translator for translating.For example, if people want to order some food and they known to the different languages then they can get easily delivery of food at home and also by the usage of translator.

To Conclude, I believe that, there are several benefits of speaking foreign language but it can be a serious and challenging social as well as practical problem because of the language barrier and communication problem but it can be resolved through the usage of technology like as translator.
