loving in foreign country requires there mother tounge to communicate with people. some people believe that this can cuase very big problem to socialise. I totally agree with this statement because langaunge barriers vcan affect peoples social lives and daily operations of them.

firstly, they cant able to speak local languange and its creates a gap between communication to peoples, may find difficulties to talk with neibhours , collegues and to the society. they may struggle to make friends and can feel lonely . fir example, an international student whi cant able to speak local language may find difficulties to participate in any activity and making relations.

secondly, language barriers van also creates problem in practical life such as daily operations people having serious problems to understand important information like applying jib , visiting doctors. In an emergancy they totally inable to expalin there problems clearly. similarly people who do joy speak loval languange may have low chances to get job and work fir survival .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response presents a clear position agreeing with the prompt and offers relevant ideas regarding social and practical problems caused by a language barrier, such as difficulty making friends or applying for jobs. However, the task is significantly under-length, reaching only 194 words compared to the minimum 250-word requirement. This negative constraint violation severely limits the depth and extension of ideas, resulting in under-developed main points. For instance, examples like 'visiting doctors' and 'applying job' are stated rather than fully elaborated. Consequently, the response can only partially address the task requirements due to length constraints, warranting a band score of 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay displays a basic overall organisation with visible paragraphing, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Transitional markers such as 'firstly', 'secondly', and 'In conclusion' are used to signal the progression of ideas. However, the cohesion is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate. Referencing is weak, as seen in the phrase 'daily operations of them', and logical progression within paragraphs is disrupted by sentence fragmentation and poor linking. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal flow of ideas is disjointed. Overall, the structural organization aligns with a band 5.0 descriptor because the logical progression is flawed and cohesive devices are inadequate or repetitive.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The student attempts some topic-related vocabulary such as 'international student', 'emergancy', and 'social lives', but there are numerous spelling errors throughout the text, including 'loving' for living, 'tounge' for tongue, 'cuase' for cause, 'langaunge' for language, 'vcan' for can, 'neibhours' for neighbours, 'collegues' for colleagues, 'whi' for who, 'joy' for do, and 'wighout' for without. These errors, alongside persistent word-choice inaccuracies like 'daily operations of them', cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the lexical score to a band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty and ungrammatical. There is a total lack of basic punctuation and capitalisation, and many sentences contain severe structural errors. Examples include 'they cant able to speak local languange and its creates a gap', 'whi cant able to speak', and 'people having serious problems to understand important information like applying jib , visiting doctors'. Frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('people who do joy speak'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms ('they totally inable to expalin'), cause significant strain and difficulty for the reader.
