It is often argue that residing in a nation where one must communicate in a foreign tongue leads to severe social and pratical complication. I completely agree with this view because language barrier fundamental restrict daily functional activtity and deeply hinder a person's ability to integrate into the local community
On the one hand, an unable to speak foreign language at antive place create immense hurdles in managing everyday task. Basic need, such as navigating public transportation, buying groceries, or setting up utility accounts, issue arise during proffessional or medical emergencies. Forinstance, an person who living outside the country cannot speak accurutely describe their physical symptoms to a doctor or understand medical prescription risk inadequate healthcare. Furthermore, securing meaningful employment become exceptionally difficult, as most high-paying jobs require fluent workplace communicate, leaving non-native speaker restricted to low-skilled labor
On the other hand, language deficiencies lead to severe emotional isolation and culture alienation. Language is the primary vehical for building relationship and understanding cultural nuances. Without it, immigrants find it nearly impossible to form deep connection or friendships with local, often confining them to isolation migrants enckaves. The lackof interaction breeds a sense of exclsion and loneloness, which can negatively impact mental health. Over time, these social divides can manifest on a broader scale

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position that foreign language living causes significant social and practical issues. The main ideas are relevant and supported, aligning well with the overall requirements for this level. For instance, the discussion on everyday tasks like navigating public transportation and healthcare is clear. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others, and the argument occasionally tends to over-generalize without deeper elaboration. To reach a higher band, the student should expand further on the broader societal impacts mentioned in the conclusion rather than rushing through multiple points, ensuring every main idea is thoroughly explored with extended supporting evidence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, distinct body paragraphs, and a concluding summary. The progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, as seen in the clear shift from practical hurdles in the first body paragraph to emotional and social isolation in the second. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or faulty, with awkward transitions and referencing issues, such as 'Forinstance, an person who living outside the country'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate main themes, but the logical flow between sentences could be smoother. To improve, the student needs to use cohesive devices more flexibly and naturally without relying on repetitive transitional patterns, ensuring that referencing words clearly point to their intended antecedents.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The writer displays an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'emotional isolation', 'cultural nuances', and 'migrant enclaves'. However, there is a noticeable presence of spelling and word-choice errors that stem from attempts at more complex terminology, such as 'pratical complication', 'activtity', 'vehical', 'enckaves', and 'verbacular'. While these vocabulary and spelling errors do not completely impede communication, they highlight the limitations at this level. To achieve a higher score, the student should focus on accuracy in word formation and spelling, ensuring that less common lexical items are used with correct collocations and stylistic awareness.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing contains a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt at varied syntactic structures such as subordinate clauses. Nevertheless, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues and missing articles, as seen in 'It is often argue', 'an unable to speak', and 'healthcareto to phycological'. These errors require some effort from the reader to interpret the exact meaning, placing the grammatical control firmly in this band. To progress, the student must exercise better control over basic sentence construction, verb forms, and punctuation, ensuring that complex structures are formed accurately rather than resulting in frequent structural slips.
