Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is frequently argued that living in a nation where you have speak international language can factor serious social issues, as well as prectical issues. I firmly agree with this position because main factor is speak a foreign language, it is social issues, and further belive that it is practical issues.

On the other hand the primary rational for this prespective lies in social problems likes It is difficult to communicate with people in their own language. Due to language, people's words are being misinterpreted. To elaborate, when to other's communicate so it is not understan exect meaning, it inevitably leads to they may become misguide. For instance , recent empirical research conducted in out of countery such as Canada, UK and America demonstrated that for example, One indian person , it does not have understand forigen language, as a resulte it can not communicate to other individuals. consequently, If you want to go to a foreign country, you need to learn a foreign language.

Furthermore, another compelling argument supporting this stance is prectical issues such as The main difficulty lies in getting a job, because there are many things to discuss during the interview. This is primarily because during the interview in many things to discuss like work experience, salary, work information so without forigen language face in more challanges. As direct resulte, does note achive to job. A prominent example of this can be seen in for example, One indian employee want to foreign compney in apply for job but it can not understand forigen language, they get rejected for the job because of this, which clearly illustrates how improve for self to understand forgien language.

In conclusion, I reiterate my strong belife that an international language is very crucial. This is due to the significant contributions of both social issues and practical issues. Looking ahead, it is vital that I strongly belive that without forgian language to facing more challenges so I recommended to learn international language is major needs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you agree that living where a foreign language is spoken can create both social and practical problems. You address both parts by discussing misunderstandings in everyday communication and difficulty securing employment, and the examples about an Indian resident and a job interview are relevant to the task. However, the ideas are only partly developed. The communication example is difficult to follow, and the employment point would be stronger if you explained more specifically how limited language ability affects interviews or workplace tasks. The conclusion also shifts toward recommending language learning rather than clearly summarising the extent of your agreement. Develop each example with a clear cause-and-effect explanation and keep the focus on the problems and your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs covering social and practical problems, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and the progression within sentences is often unclear. For example, “To elaborate, when to other's communicate so it is not understan exect meaning” makes it hard to identify who is communicating and what is misunderstood. The examples also repeat “for example” and do not always connect clearly to the point they are meant to support. Use simpler, complete sentences, make references explicit, and link each example directly to the claim in the paragraph.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “misinterpreted,” “empirical research,” “work experience,” and “salary.” However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “factor serious social issues,” “primary rational,” “prectical,” “misguide,” and “achive to job.” Some phrases, such as “international language,” are also imprecise when you mean the language spoken in the country where someone lives. Build accuracy with common topic vocabulary before adding formal expressions: for instance, describe communication barriers, misunderstandings, job applications, and interview questions using natural combinations. Proofreading for spelling and choosing familiar, precise wording will make your ideas clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures with “because” and “which clearly illustrates.” However, control is weak: many sentences contain errors in verb forms, sentence construction, articles, agreement, or punctuation, and these sometimes obscure meaning. For example, “you have speak” needs a correctly formed verb, while “As direct resulte, does note achive to job” lacks a clear subject and has an incomplete verb pattern. The sentence beginning “when to other's communicate” is also difficult to parse. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check that every sentence has a clear subject and finite verb, and use punctuation to separate complete ideas.
