Student answer (Band 4.5)
In modern days, most of the people debate that the country where you live, have a serious issues or not.I Strongly disagree that to speak the foreign language has become a serious issue for everyone.
On the one hand, to speak foriegn langaue in your country has become a serious issue. for instance , if you speak foriegn langauage to that person who not knowing, then it becomes a major issue, it is totally wrong. It disheart the people. the Simple rule is, you speak foriegn language where its need. Otherwise you will be become in danger zone.
On the other hand, to speack foregn language is more benifical for those who want to grow in his life. As you know the english language is the international language that use in every country, as a result we must speak english if you grow. As well as if you want to go for study abraod , you will need to know english, then you survive on there. When foriegner come to our country, they have the knowlodge of english.
In Conclusion, i highly agree with that to speak foreign langage is very benficial for us and for others. There is no Serious issue to speack foriegn language in our country, Furthermore, people are apriciated those person who speak english fluently.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear overall view that speaking a foreign language is beneficial rather than a serious problem, and you attempt to consider both sides. However, the response only partially addresses the question: the first body paragraph focuses on whether speaking a foreign language to someone who does not understand is “totally wrong,” rather than explaining the social and practical problems of living in a country where you must use another language. The benefits paragraph mentions study abroad and English as an international language, but these points are brief and not supported with a specific example. The response also contains 219 words, below the required 250. Develop relevant problems and benefits with clear explanations and examples, and make your position consistent: the introduction says “strongly disagree,” while the conclusion says “highly agree.”
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic structure and makes the opposing points easy to identify. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: several claims are placed next to one another without explaining how they connect, such as the warning about being in a “danger zone.” Linking phrases are also repetitive or awkward, including repeated use of “As well as” and “Furthermore.” The conclusion contradicts the introduction, which weakens the overall line of argument. Build each paragraph around one clear point, explain it step by step, and use references and transitions that show the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “international language,” “study abroad,” and “fluently,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repetitive, particularly “speak foreign language.” There are also frequent spelling and word-choice problems, such as “foriegn langaue,” “benifical,” “knowlodge,” and “apriciated,” which make the writing less clear and controlled. Some expressions are unnatural or imprecise, for example “grow in his life” and “survive on there.” Aim to use accurate topic vocabulary and natural collocations, such as describing communication barriers, social isolation, or access to services, and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, for example the sentence beginning “As you know the english language…” and the conditional idea about studying abroad. However, the range remains limited, and errors are frequent enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “the country where you live, have a serious issues,” “if you speak … to that person who not knowing,” and “then you will become in danger zone.” These show problems with subject–verb agreement, clause construction, articles, and verb forms. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “I Strongly” and the run-on opening. Practise building accurate sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
