Student answer (Band 5.0)
Living in a country where I have to speak a foreign language can cause a typical communication issue with professional issues. Speaking other languages instead of native language can make some problems. I agree with this statement. In the coming paragraphs I illustrate the logical problem.
Started with example of Pakistan Urdu is my native language, So I can communicate and understands better in Urdu. If I speak English to local and natives, people do not understand me. I will definetly got confuse about behavior of different people. In the offices where we have to speak with both languages , it can be little comfortable but we cannot in a english speaking mode all the time.
Then the next problem is to speak confidently. When i start to speak in English in public my confidence level goes below slowly. My thoughts start collabs in my mind. There is some language barriers that always have hurdles to speak.
Moreover, if somebody go to Italy he/she has problems to speak Italian with natives. So these problems are same all over the world.
Besides of all these barriers speak foreign language is skill oriented quality. We can get connect to people of other nations and communicate internationaly. That enhance our social circle and improve our communication. Also learning new language improve our thinking capacity.
We have to solve these problems that held in the way of speaking foreign language. Government also should make policies to promote language internationally. Because Today world converted into global village. We can connect to all over the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear general position—“I agree with this statement”—and discuss communication difficulties, confidence, and a possible benefit of learning another language. These points are relevant, but the response only partially develops the task: it does not clearly distinguish social problems from practical ones, and the examples remain broad. For instance, the Pakistan example says that local people may not understand you, but does not explain a specific consequence at work or in daily life. The Italy example is also hypothetical and adds little support. The final comments about language learning’s benefits and government policy are not clearly connected to your degree of agreement. Develop fewer points with specific explanations and examples, and make your position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has separate paragraphs and a recognisable sequence, moving from communication problems to confidence, then to an example and a concluding point. However, the overall progression is not always clear, and several transitions feel mechanical: “Started with example,” “Then the next problem,” and “Moreover” announce points without showing how they relate. The paragraph about Italy repeats the general claim rather than extending the previous discussion, while the benefits paragraph shifts direction without explaining how these benefits affect your agreement. Some references are also unclear, such as “these problems” and “these barriers.” Use topic sentences that identify each paragraph’s main idea, connect examples directly to claims, and make the conclusion summarise your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a limited but relevant set of vocabulary, including “communication issue,” “language barriers,” “confidence,” and “social circle,” so the main topic is generally understandable. However, noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “professional issues” is vague, “my thoughts start collabs in my mind” is unclear, and “problems that held in the way” does not express the intended idea naturally. There are also spelling errors such as “definetly” and “internationaly.” Aim for precise phrases that describe specific effects, such as difficulty understanding instructions or feeling excluded from conversations. Check spelling and use a dictionary or collocation resource to confirm natural combinations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “If I speak English…” and a relative clause in “where we have to speak with both languages.” However, sentence structures are limited overall, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some ideas hard to understand. Examples include “people do not understand me” followed by “I will definetly got confuse,” “I can communicate and understands,” and “if somebody go to Italy.” Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “Urdu, So” and “Because Today.” Practise accurate present and conditional forms, subject–verb agreement, and complete sentence patterns before adding more complex clauses.
