Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's world, It is widely believed that no one should move or settle in a country where the residents of the country do not often speak English or your native language, because of serious social and practical problems. To some extent I agree witht this statement, becuase it becomes very hard to socialize with the locals because of the language barrier and you feel completely alone. But, It doesn't mean that one should completely abandon the plan of moving to a specific country.
Language barrier is indeed very difficult problem to overcome. Especially, when you are new to a country. It makes things very hard for the one migrating or moving in to a country that speaks completelu different language. If a person cannot communicate basic ideas to other person it becomes extremely challenging to survive in those conditions. You cannot move out or hangout with the lcoals, you will not be able to make friends there. Language barrier comes with practical problems that include difficulty in finding jobs. As, countries like Germany in which major portion of the residents don't understand English. Due to this reason, majority jobs exclusively lists proefficiency in German language in the job descriptions.
The above reasons does not mean a person should completely eliminate countries like these from their list. Migrating to parts of the world that requires learning new language comes with the excited opportuinities to explore new cultures, learning new languages. These hardships makes a person stronger to overcome any stressfull situation thrown at his way.
In conclusion, Although people should keep exploring new cultures and try to interact with other residents of our beautifull planet Earth. It still requires facing signifcant challenges and going through extreme depressing circumstances that can cause serious social and practical problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree to some extent that living where people speak another language creates serious difficulties, but you do not think this should prevent migration. You address both social problems, such as feeling alone and struggling to make friends, and practical ones, especially finding work, and the Germany example is relevant. However, the discussion is unevenly developed. The social effects are described broadly, while the employment point would be stronger with a specific explanation or example. The paragraph about cultural opportunities and personal growth adds a useful qualification, but it does not fully explain how these benefits balance the problems. Develop each main point with a concrete example and make the extent of your agreement more explicit in the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your position, the body paragraphs discuss difficulties and potential benefits, and the conclusion returns to the central issue. Ideas generally progress in a sensible order, and linking phrases such as “To some extent,” “Due to this reason,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This already gives the essay a coherent shape. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “As, countries like Germany…” is not smoothly attached to the preceding point, and “The above reasons does not mean” refers vaguely to the earlier discussion. Use more precise referencing and connect examples directly to the claims they support. A clearer transition between the problems and the benefits would also make the progression more fluent.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “language barrier,” “socialize,” “communicate,” “migrating,” and “explore new cultures.” These choices make your main ideas understandable, and you attempt some less common expressions such as “exclusively” and “eliminate.” However, the range and control are uneven, with noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that sometimes distract the reader: “completelu,” “lcoals,” “proefficiency,” and “opportuinities.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “the excited opportunities” and “stressfull situation thrown at his way.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations, and choose more precise expressions for social isolation, employment requirements, and adapting to a new culture.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “when,” and “Although.” Most of the meaning remains clear, and the essay’s basic sentence patterns are understandable. Some grammatical errors persist, particularly with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries. For example, “Language barrier is indeed very difficult problem” needs articles, while “The above reasons does not mean” has a subject–verb agreement error. “Especially, when you are new to a country” is a fragment, and the final sentence begins with “Although” but does not complete the contrast in a grammatically controlled way. Practise combining fragments with the sentences they explain, and check agreement and article use when editing. More accurate complex sentences would strengthen the range you are already attempting.
