Student answer (Band 5.5)
Speaking foreign language in a country where we have to adopt their social and practical habits may have different kinds of problems to face on daily bases. In my opinion,I agree that speaking the native language of foreigner may cause of facing various kind of difficulties. However i belive after spending some time on that country leads us to adopt their native language.
To beign with, living in a foreign country depends on the lifestyle you adopt to illustrate if you are a doing a white collar job then you have to be more profiecient in their language as you have to take stnad up meetings, one to one chat, presentations as well as daily base gossips.
Morover, if you are living with your family and have some kind of family business then you have some time to learn their language and habbits to survive accordingly as you have a lot of support from your relatives to spent most of the time with them using you native language on daily base routine like if you are pn shopping and facing some kind of conversational probles your comapninescan helo you there.
On the other hand, its always depends on your efforts and time that you put to learn and adopt the new challenges that you have to fave on faily bases accroding to their lifestyle and you have to make your self more comfortable.
In conclusion, we may face various kind of problems as we are adopting and learning new things but after some time we can use thorgh these and can face all these challanges easily and adopt them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a recognisable position: you agree that using a foreign language can create difficulties, while adding that people may adapt over time. The examples about workplace meetings and relying on relatives for help are relevant to practical challenges. However, the response only partly addresses the task because it does not clearly explain the serious social problems mentioned in the prompt, such as isolation or difficulty forming relationships. Several points are also under-developed: the contrast between a white-collar worker and someone in a family business is introduced, but its connection to the extent of your agreement is not fully explained. Develop both social and practical effects, and support each with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Moreover” and “On the other hand” show an attempt to organise ideas. The workplace example and the family-business example are distinguishable, which gives the essay some structure. However, progression is not consistently clear: the second body paragraph shifts from family support to shopping difficulties, while the final body paragraph repeats the idea that effort and time help people adapt rather than adding a new point. Some linking phrases do not express the relationship between ideas accurately. Plan one paragraph around practical problems and another around social problems, then use clear topic sentences and connect each example directly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “proficient,” “presentations,” “lifestyle” and “challenges,” and you use some phrases connected with work and daily life. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow, such as “daily base gossips,” “adopt their social and practical habits” and “use through these.” Spelling errors are also frequent, including “belive,” “profiecient” and “comapnines,” which can distract the reader. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than adding difficult words: for example, describe “workplace communication” or “everyday tasks,” and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary for social effects would also help you address the prompt fully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “if you are living with your family” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning hard to understand. For example, “In my opinion, I agree that…” is followed by an unclear clause, while “after spending some time on that country leads us to adopt” has an incorrect sentence structure. There are also recurring problems with articles, agreement, verb forms and punctuation, as in “a doing a white collar job” and “its always depends.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check each sentence for agreement and punctuation.
