Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued by some people that staying in a country where you have to talk in their nation language can cause serious social issues,as well as practical problems.Although, some might disagree with the statement, I completely agree with the statement. Not only because of Job difficulties and health care related challanges, but also because of daily life challanges.
there are multiple challanges associated with foreign language. Firstly, there is a job difficulties. As you don't find a good job without their national language.Take an example of Germany, where 90% peoples face difficulty when looking for a good job because every company have a specific requirement about language like they demand a b2 level in german language. Thus, foreign language is playing a crucial role in foreign country.
Secondly, health care problems are also a major problem in another country. As you don't describe your proper condition with doctors so they didn't give you a proper medician. For instace, according to recent survey that was conducted in France, where 95% people agreed on that they face practial problems while telling about their health.Hence, language is a root cause of these problems.
Finally, language create another problems in daily life while in shopping, grocery, and even in paper work.As they understand the importance official documets so they ignore it and then faces challenges like in form of panalty.
To sumup, I belive that living in a country where you have to speik their lanuguage if you don't know about their language can cause serious problems not just social as well as practial not only because of job difficulties and health care issues but also because of daily life challanges.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you completely agree that living where a foreign language is required can create serious problems. You address practical difficulties through employment, healthcare and everyday paperwork, and the examples about Germany and France are relevant to these points. However, the response only partly addresses the task because it gives little attention to social problems, such as isolation or difficulty forming relationships. Several claims, including the percentages cited, are asserted without explanation, and the ideas are generally brief. Develop each point by explaining how the language barrier causes the problem and adding a specific, credible example. The response meets the stated length requirement; eight words copied from the task prompt were excluded from the count.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, three body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Finally,” and a concluding paragraph that restates your position. This helps the reader follow the main points. However, progression within paragraphs is often limited: claims are followed by examples or conclusions without enough explanation linking them. Connectors such as “As” and “Hence” are sometimes used mechanically or do not make the relationship between ideas clear. The conclusion also repeats much of the introduction rather than drawing the discussion together. Build clearer links between each claim, its explanation and its example, and use referencing and transitions more precisely to reduce repetition.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “job difficulties,” “health care,” “daily life,” and “official documents,” so the main message is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “problems,” “challenges,” and “language.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “medician,” “practial,” “panalty,” and “speik,” which can distract the reader. Some expressions are unnatural, for example “talk in their nation language” and “a root cause of these problems.” Aim for more precise collocations and vary repeated terms; careful proofreading will also help ensure that your intended meaning is conveyed smoothly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the opening contrast beginning “Although” and the cause-and-effect explanation about healthcare. However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. For example, “Although, some might disagree … I completely agree” uses an incomplete or awkwardly joined construction, while “there is a job difficulties” has an article and number-agreement problem. Verb agreement and forms are also inconsistent, as in “every company have” and “they understand … so they ignore it and then faces challenges.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries are sometimes unclear. Practise building complete sentences with accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and plural forms, then check each sentence for a clear main clause.
