Student answer (Band 5.5)
There are many important problems on both, social life as well as on practical life of a person who lives in a country where he have to communicate in native language of this country, where he is living. I am strongly agree with this statement.
If we talk about social problems, so we must need to meet with people of that country, need to communicate with them. In that case if a person do not know the language of communication then he will surely facing difficulties. For example if someone goes to market to buy something. Or he need to ask about something, like adress or anything so he will not be able to do it, if he not know the language. Due to this other can be also effect such as if they have to comminicate about something important to this person.
Similarly, it has also problems on practical life of a person. Suppose a person is styding or working abroad in a country where he do not able to talk in foreign language. He will not able to ask from anyone about a problem or confusion at his work or study. As if someone is working in a laboratory so there many important things to know about. And he can not ask from someone due to language barrier it can cause an accident or serious problem. For example i know a person who was my classmate during our bachelor program. He goes to germany for master program after completing his bachelor. He told me that there is no any english speaker with him in class. So he need to be very carful with different chemicals during researches which is related to agriculture. He also told me if he miss something in class or not understand it so than he have no one to discuss it with him.
We can conclude that living in that country where we need to speak their local language is very difficult. However by spending some time there and try to learn language of that country can help us to live there easily. But it take time and we must be to suffur at our first time if do not know the language.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the opening: “I am strongly agree with this statement,” and you address both social and practical difficulties. The market example illustrates everyday communication problems, while the account of your classmate in Germany gives relevant support for the risks in study and laboratory work. This range of examples and your concluding suggestion that learning the language can help show more than a basic response to the question. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained: the social example focuses mainly on asking for directions or buying something, and the practical discussion could clarify how language barriers affect work more broadly. The conclusion also introduces coping through language learning without developing it. More balanced explanation and extension would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on social and practical problems, and a conclusion. The progression from everyday interactions to study and work is logical, and signposts such as “Similarly” help show the relationship between the main points. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or unclear. The opening phrase “If we talk about social problems, so” is awkward, and “Due to this other can be also effect” does not clearly connect the example to its consequence. Some sentences are fragmented, such as “For example if someone goes to market to buy something.” Use complete sentences and clearer referencing, and organise each body paragraph around a main idea followed by explanation and an example. This would make the progression easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “language barrier,” “communicate,” “laboratory,” and “chemicals,” which helps convey the situations discussed. The examples also show an attempt to use vocabulary beyond very basic everyday terms. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts of the response harder to understand, such as “problems on practical life,” “ask from anyone,” and “there is no any english speaker.” Spelling errors including “adress,” “styding,” and “carful” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common collocations as complete phrases—for example, “face practical difficulties” and “ask someone for help”—and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your ideas clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if a person do not know the language” and a longer example about your classmate’s studies. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction frequently affect readability. Examples include “I am strongly agree,” “he have to communicate,” “he will surely facing difficulties,” and “he do not able to talk.” The sentence beginning “As if someone is working in a laboratory” is also not grammatically complete in its current context. Practise accurate present and past forms, subject–verb agreement, and complete conditional sentences. Breaking some long sentences into shorter, correctly formed units will help you communicate the examples more clearly.
