Student answer (Band 5.5)
Living abroad is a challenging task if that country has its own native language. Therefore some people find difficulty to survive, which affects their social life and disturbs their practical life. I completely agree with this statement related to suffering causing social and practical problem.
To begin with the problems faced, I would like to highlight various social problems. With different origin of residence, that person, although being a citizen, cannot match the local speech fluency. So socializing acts as a major problem. However, the problem does not end here. Many local people show less acceptance, may be due to trust issues. This factor causes in reducing an individuals moral. In addition, problems like locality ego acts as a major burden to the person living in an unknown land. However, these problem reduces by significant amount depending on the time spent in that country. To illustrate, a citizen of spain hardly accepts a non native professional in their country becuse of above listed problems.
Along with that, secondary problem includes practicality. This problem is encountered while hunting job or during holiday trip. Non native people living there because of professional commitments usually find it impractical to stay in an unknown land over a period of time. Major reason for it may be considered as an effort to change their mentality for adapting new area. Many non english people living in USA find it worthless because of their job role, lifestyle, etc. which they have accepted in USA
To conclude, people living abroad for personal or professional motive faces many challenges. This challenges can get resolved by their hardwork in achieving language fluency. Otherwise, life in non native country will keep rising.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear in the introduction: you “completely agree” that living where a foreign language is spoken can create social and practical problems. You address both areas, discussing difficulty socialising and challenges connected with work and travel, so the response is relevant to the task. However, several points are asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that local people show less acceptance because of “trust issues” and the Spain example are broad and do not show clearly how language causes the problem. The practical paragraph also shifts to adapting one’s mentality and says some people find life in the USA “worthless,” without clarifying the link to language. Develop each main point with a specific, clearly explained example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for social and practical problems, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “To begin with,” “In addition,” and “To conclude” helps readers follow the broad stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some linking phrases do not express the relationship between ideas precisely. For instance, “However, the problem does not end here” introduces another social point, while “Along with that, secondary problem includes practicality” is an awkward transition. References such as “this factor” and “these problem” are not always clear or consistent. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it before moving to the next point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “socializing,” “local speech fluency,” “professional commitments,” and “adapting.” This gives you some means of discussing both social and practical effects. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, which can make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “different origin of residence,” “locality ego,” “reduces an individuals moral,” and “find it worthless” do not communicate the ideas precisely. There are also spelling errors, including “becuse,” and inconsistent forms such as “non native.” Aim for familiar, accurate expressions before using less common wording; for example, describe difficulty “integrating into the local community” rather than “locality ego.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession in “although being a citizen” and a conditional idea in “depending on the time spent in that country.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning harder to understand. Examples include “some people find difficulty to survive,” “these problem reduces,” and “people … faces many challenges.” The sentence beginning “Major reason for it may be considered as” is also difficult to parse, while the final sentence, “Otherwise, life in non native country will keep rising,” does not form a clear grammatical or logical conclusion. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build complex sentences around a clear main clause.
