Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is undeniable that sometimes foriegn language becomes a large obstacle in someone career sucess. In this regard, people assumed that moving to nation that demands foreign language can create social issues and practical hurdles. I agree to a large extent with this notion due to many reasons which will be outline in the forthcoming paragraph with a logical conclusion.
To commence with, even after sufficient knowledge of foriegn language, people suffers from many obstacles as every word has number of synonyms and meanings due to this, it is difficult to learn each and every word. Socializing becomes the biggest issue as understanding their cultures and language will be difficult as a result individuals suffer from isolation. However, in case of pratical issue, employment becomes a challanging part of their life due to language issues. For example, on a netflix decomentry, waiter lose his job because he was fail to understand the word 'allergy with eggplant' and due to his unablity to inform the cheif, that customer become sick.
Nevertheless, due to technical devices, people already get enough basic knowledge about cultures and basic language words because they are aware of hardships they will going to face after a migration also translater application help them alot in surviving the language problems.
In the conclusion, although people does not face obstacles if they have sufficient knowlegde. But according to me issue like isolation, employment barriee, lack of cultural knowledge can not ignored.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is stated clearly: you agree “to a large extent,” and you address both social problems, such as isolation, and practical problems, such as employment and communication. The waiter example also gives a relevant illustration of how a language misunderstanding can have serious consequences. However, the response only partially develops the argument: the point about synonyms is not clearly connected to the broader difficulty of settling into a new country, and the paragraph about translation technology is brief and does not fully explain how it changes your position. The conclusion introduces a qualification about sufficient knowledge without resolving it. The response is also 9 words below the required minimum. Develop each main idea with clearer explanation and a specific example, and make your degree of agreement consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. The progression from social difficulties to employment problems is generally understandable, and signposts such as “To commence with” and “Nevertheless” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, connections between ideas are sometimes unclear: the discussion of synonyms moves quickly to isolation, while the technology paragraph does not clearly explain how it qualifies the earlier claims. Some linking phrases sound formulaic, and the conclusion’s opening “although” creates an incomplete contrast with the following sentence. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example directly to its main point, and make transitions express the actual relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “social issues,” “practical hurdles,” “isolation,” and “cultural knowledge.” These choices help communicate the main concerns, and the example involving an allergy gives the discussion concrete detail. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts less clear, including “foriegn,” “sucess,” “pratical,” and “challanging.” Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “employment becomes a challenging part of their life” and “translater application.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations, and avoid repeating broad terms such as “issues” and “problems.” More precise vocabulary for social integration, workplace communication and language barriers would make the argument clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a cause-and-effect structure in “Socializing becomes the biggest issue as understanding their cultures and language will be difficult.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms and sentence construction occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “people suffers” should use a plural verb, “waiter lose his job because he was fail” has several verb-form problems, and “people does not face” has incorrect agreement. The final sentence, “although people does not face obstacles if they have sufficient knowledge,” is also incomplete in its contrast with the next clause. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and divide long or loosely connected sentences into complete, controlled clauses.
