Student answer (Band 5.5)
Foreign language caused big problems when a person go abroad. There was an issue when you have to speak foreign language, including in practical work and social work. In my perspective, the problem was concerning but not an impossible task, as in the modern world, when there are many facilities to overcome it.
Few years ago, foreign language had a difficult task as there was no advance in learning and you have to pay high fees to institutions to learn a language. Furthermore, you cannot doing practice of that language at home. In that extent, I agree with this statement, as it imposes many difficulties for doing and understanding the social and practical work. For instance, about 50% of workers who go abroad for jobs, got returned back to their country, as they faces difficulties in foreign language in Germany.
On the other hand, nowadays I totally disagree because in this modern era there are many facilities through which you can learn the foreign language without any fees. We can also learn from AI and do practice with it, as it also recommend you the correct sentence structure which helps in improvement. Moreover, the language translator apps should also be used easily when you have a problem, despite to hire a language translator. As of now, there are no serious problem regarding to speak a foreign language.
In conclusion, speaking and learning a foreign language has no big problem as there are many facilities where you can learn and easily take help where you got problem.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the question and give a position: you acknowledge that language can create difficulties, then argue that modern learning tools and translation apps make them manageable. The response is relevant, but the position is not fully consistent: “I agree with this statement” is followed by “I totally disagree,” without clearly explaining whether you partly agree or why your view changes over time. The discussion also focuses mainly on learning resources and translation, rather than showing how language barriers cause serious social and practical problems. The claim that about 50% of workers return from Germany is not explained or supported. State your extent of agreement clearly and develop specific examples of workplace and social consequences, then explain how far modern tools address them.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph about earlier difficulties, a contrasting paragraph about modern tools, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Furthermore,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression is sometimes weakened by unclear links between ideas. For example, the shift from agreeing that language creates difficulties to “totally disagree” is not reconciled, and the conclusion repeats the claim about facilities without summarising the extent of your position. Some references, such as “In that extent,” are difficult to follow. Make each paragraph develop one clear point, and use linking phrases to show how your examples support your stated position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the general subject, including “foreign language,” “institutions,” “translator apps,” and “sentence structure.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations sound unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning less precise. Examples include “practical work and social work,” “foreign language had a difficult task,” and “there are no serious problem regarding to speak.” Repetition of “problem,” “language,” and “facilities” also limits flexibility. Aim for more precise expressions for the effects of language barriers, such as difficulties accessing services, communicating with colleagues, or forming relationships. Check collocations and word forms when revising, and choose vocabulary that describes the specific consequence rather than repeating general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “as,” “when,” and “which.” This gives the response some variety, but control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the reader pause. For example, “when a person go abroad” needs subject–verb agreement, while “you cannot doing practice” has an incorrect verb form. In “workers … got returned back … as they faces difficulties,” the tense and agreement are also faulty. There are errors in longer sentences as well, such as “the language translator apps should also be used easily.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their grammar.
