Student answer (Band 5.5)

Language is one of the most important thing for a modern world. I completely agree with that, as language can create causes for every person who move to another country. They face social and practical problems for any purpose.

On the one hand, everyday tasks become challenging without fluency in local language. Since, who person don't know about the foreign language they cannot communicate each other and struggle to make friends. For instance, finding accommodation, visiting a doctor, dealing with bank, dealing shopkeers and uderstanding some documents can be extremeny stressfull. In a medical emergency, being unable to explain their disease accurately. Moreover, misunderstanding instruction due to language issue could lead to poor perfomance and even job loss. Even simple things like grocery shop, road signals and aducation can cause time-consumong problems.

On the other hand, language can create social problems, reducing employment opportunities. Language is the key to make relationship with neigbhours, school friends and own work place. Without relationship individuals often feel lonely, stress and anxeity. Since, thay cannot spend their leisure time with another. For example, many students who go to France, Italy and Turkey for the studies they struggle to make friends and build their trust but fail to integrate. Laguage often suffer people in mental stress, pressure and fatigue because they leave their native country for higher education and better economin developemnet for support their family and their own facilities.

In conclusion, language is very significant part for every peron who want to live another country bacause without lanuage they cannot satteld their and challing for them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you completely agree that living where a foreign language is needed can create both practical and social difficulties. You address practical examples such as finding accommodation, visiting a doctor and understanding documents, and social effects such as loneliness and difficulty integrating. However, several points are listed rather than explained. For example, the claim that language reduces employment opportunities is not supported with a specific explanation or example, and the discussion of students in France, Italy and Turkey is difficult to follow. The conclusion repeats the general view but does not draw together the main reasons. Develop fewer points more fully and make each example clearly show how language creates the problem.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first body paragraph moves from communication and friendship to medical care, employment, shopping, road signs and education without clearly grouping or linking these examples. Some connectors are awkward or repetitive, including “Since” at the start of sentences and “Moreover.” References such as “they” and “their” are not always clear. Organise each paragraph around one main idea, then explain it and add a focused example; use linking phrases only where they show a genuine relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “accommodation,” “medical emergency,” “employment opportunities,” “integrate” and “leisure time.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both practical and emotional consequences. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “language can create causes,” “dealing shopkeers,” “language often suffer people,” and misspellings such as “stressfull,” “neigbhours” and “economin.” Some phrases also do not express the intended meaning precisely, such as “build their trust but fail to integrate.” Check spelling carefully and learn common combinations such as “communicate with others,” “form relationships” and “experience stress.” More precise vocabulary would make your ideas clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “Since” and “because,” and you use examples to extend your points. However, errors occur frequently in sentence structure, agreement, articles and verb forms, and they sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “one of the most important thing” needs a plural noun, while “who person don't know” has an incorrect clause structure and agreement. “In a medical emergency, being unable to explain their disease accurately” is a fragment rather than a complete sentence. The conclusion also contains several faulty patterns, including “who want to live another country.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check singular/plural agreement, articles and prepositions before submitting.
