Student answer (Band 5.0)
There are defferent languages in the world, every county have own language and culture. If someone living in another country, it is difficult to speak a foreign language and it makes serious issues, as well as practical problems I agrree this statement because, we are not perfect to speak cleary and we can not express our emmotions.
One of the main reasons is we are not speak cleary that cause foreigner can not understand what we want to say, that time sometime we have to face different issues. For example, foreigner can bulling and chating. In addition, people can not help us because they do not understand. For example, I saw a video and he was a man cafe from australia to nepal, in that video, one fo the nepali man offer to eat chicken and rice after that he said too much money for foods and the foreigner felt sad and want to pay but other people were saying sorry and trying to stop for pay money.
In modern era, most of the people try to cheat everyone especially foreigner because they do not have ideas about culture and rule and we have to face police case.
In conclusin, living in another coutry is difficult. If someone want to go, they have to learn a language and culture it helps to safe in another county.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear position—“I agree this statement”—and give relevant points about being misunderstood, receiving little help, and being vulnerable to unfair treatment. The café anecdote also offers a concrete example of a practical difficulty. However, the response addresses the task only partially: social problems are mentioned briefly, while the practical consequences and the distinction between the two are not developed. The example is difficult to follow, and the claim about being cheated and facing a police case is asserted without explaining how it results from language barriers. The response is also 24 words below the required minimum. Develop each main point with a clear explanation and a relevant example to address the question more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph giving reasons and an example, a further point, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “One of the main reasons,” “In addition,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression is uneven: the paragraph about cheating and police cases is very short and is not clearly linked to the preceding example. Some references are also unclear, particularly “he was a man cafe from australia to nepal,” which makes the anecdote hard to follow. Several ideas are joined in long sentences with limited punctuation. Use one focused paragraph for each main problem, and make the links between claims and examples explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “foreign language,” “culture,” “understand,” and “police case,” so the general subject is usually identifiable. However, the range is limited and some word choices or spellings make meaning difficult to interpret. For example, “foreigner can bulling and chating” does not clearly express the intended social problem, while “safe” in the conclusion seems to mean “stay safe.” There are also repeated forms such as “difficult” and “people,” and several spelling errors, including “defferent,” “agrree,” and “conclusin.” Build a more precise set of phrases for communication barriers, social isolation, exploitation, and practical difficulties, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a reason-and-example structure beginning “For example.” This shows an effort to connect ideas rather than relying only on isolated sentences. However, the range remains limited, and errors in basic sentence formation and verb forms are frequent. Examples include “every county have own language,” “If someone living in another country,” and “we are not speak cleary.” Agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries also need attention; the opening joins separate ideas with commas, and the café example becomes difficult to follow as one extended sentence. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete clauses first, then use shorter, controlled complex sentences with clear punctuation.
