Student answer (Band 5.5)
For studies and employment, many citizens are going to abroad for better future. However, many individuals faces lots of language issue to communicate with locals as well as officials and it creates huge problems when you cannot express yourself fully. I completely agree with this statement, i believe that when moved to other country you should proper knowledge about their language, culture and daily routines which can help live their peacefully without any difficulty.
The countries where you have to speak english as well as their native language because of locals might unware about of english. These cause serious problems to them who cannot easily understand the language. For instance, if individual moved to Germany where 80% of their residents understand german language and many universities has courses in same language, moreover, people who want to do their jobs in feild work, they must learnt through the german language classes, therefore, certain levels are required to get employed or getting admission in your subject related universities.
To addition, communication is more essential thing for expressing your personal views to each other. Practical problems faced in foreign countries must include personal loses where they feels loneliness because cut off to the community. For example, in India, we live in joint family and communication gap is limited, on the other hand, most of foreingn countries such as America, The UK, Canada have only 4-5 members live in house, and they have limited festivals to celebrate with friends and family. This is the most big gap.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: “I completely agree,” and you give relevant examples of language barriers affecting study, employment and social connection. The Germany example supports the practical-problems side, while the discussion of loneliness and community life addresses social problems. However, the ideas are only partly developed. The Germany paragraph focuses mainly on language requirements for courses and jobs, without explaining in detail how everyday tasks become difficult. The social example also relies on broad comparisons between family life in India and other countries, rather than showing a specific consequence of not speaking the language. Develop each point with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and keep the examples closely tied to the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs broadly separate practical and social problems, which helps the reader follow the main ideas. You also use linking expressions such as “For instance,” “To addition,” and “on the other hand.” However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several connectors are inaccurate or make the relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “moreover” and “therefore” are crowded into the Germany example, while the final sentence of the social paragraph, “This is the most big gap,” does not clearly connect to the preceding point. Use fewer, more precise transitions and make each paragraph develop one central idea in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “language barriers,” “communicate,” “locals,” “loneliness” and “community,” and you attempt more specific terms such as “employment” and “admission.” This gives you enough range to convey the main points. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make meaning less clear. Examples include “going to abroad,” “personal loses,” “financial free,” and “field work”; “This is the most big gap” is also an unnatural expression. Some phrases, such as “language issue” and “huge problems,” are vague or repetitive. Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships and checking spelling, and choose precise terms for the particular social or practical difficulty you mean.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “where,” “because” and “who,” and you use examples to extend your points. However, control is inconsistent: errors occur frequently in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction, and some sentences are difficult to process. For example, “many individuals faces” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “when moved to other country you should proper knowledge” lacks a clear subject and a correctly formed verb phrase. The opening also contains a run-on structure, and the conclusion has inconsistent capitalisation and punctuation. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses; check that every clause has a subject and finite verb and that verbs agree with their subjects.
