Student answer (Band 5.0)

In recent decades, the people who speak foreign language is the the cause or problem like many people who live in can not understand what in says . He can not given answer them . I strongly agree about that because mostly people can not understand the foreign language and this stitution he could not answer the the question of people what he says because he only understand their native language .

one of the main disadvantage is why people not understand the foreign people speak is the lack of eduction . The reason of this in my country mostly people are ignornet he has lack of eduction and other he also listen and speak their native language thats why he can not understand the foreign language . For example when a person speak foreign language people can not listen it before because he listen only native language and he can not undersatnd it . the people of my country has lack of eduction some important words he did not understand their meanings . so he can not response them

Another significant drawback, of this issue is people can not interset to learn foreign languge . He thought the forign language can not help them in daily life of tasks . Thats he could not take interset in it . when the foreign person speak in them he can not understand and not try to learn it . For instance, the people not anwer the foreign people question and he can not communicate them .

in conclusion, i strongly agree about that the foreign speaker face a lot of difficulties to communicate the people in socitey or other area . the improvement of this is to give better education to people and start programe to inserts keen intersed between people to understand foreign language .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear in the opening and conclusion: you strongly agree that language barriers create difficulties. You also give two relevant reasons—limited exposure or education and a lack of interest in learning—and include examples of people being unable to answer a foreign speaker. However, the response only partly addresses the prompt. It focuses mainly on communication and understanding, with little explanation of practical problems such as accessing services or handling everyday tasks, and social problems such as isolation or difficulty forming relationships. The reasons are repeated rather than developed, and the proposed solution is only briefly stated. To strengthen the response, explain distinct consequences and support each with a specific, developed example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The paragraphs also broadly separate the reasons, and signposts such as “one of the main disadvantage,” “Another significant drawback,” and “in conclusion” help readers follow the intended direction. However, progression within paragraphs is often repetitive: several sentences restate that people cannot understand or answer foreign speakers without adding a new step to the explanation. References such as “he,” “it,” and “them” are sometimes unclear, and connectors such as “thats why” are used mechanically. Build each paragraph around one main point, then explain its consequence and give a specific example; use clearer references and varied links between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a basic set of relevant terms, including “foreign language,” “native language,” “communicate,” and “education,” so the general topic is identifiable. However, vocabulary is limited and repeated, especially “can not understand,” “foreign language,” and “people.” Several inaccurate word choices or forms make parts difficult to interpret, such as “the people who speak foreign language is the the cause,” “lack of eduction,” and “inserts keen intersed.” Spelling errors, including “stituation,” “ignornet,” and “undersatnd,” also reduce clarity. Expand your vocabulary for the specific effects in the prompt—for example, social isolation, access to services, and everyday transactions—and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example, “The reason of this in my country…” and “when a person speak foreign language…”. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and attempts to combine ideas often contain frequent errors that make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “the people who speak foreign language is,” “He can not given answer them,” and “he only understand their native language,” which show problems with agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction. Articles and punctuation are also inconsistently controlled. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then join them with one clear subordinate clause; check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries during revision.
