Student answer (Band 5.5)
Residing in foreign nation where the local tongue is unfimiliar can create problems. Some people argue that it can trigger both social isolation and daily function others believes that with help of learning language and using technology eradicate that problem. I contend that living in country with different language creates higher problems.
On the one hand, the agreement in favor on view regarding it doesnt cause any significant problems as indiviual can experience different culture. With the help of technology advancement learning new language become easier. For instance, there are apps in smartphones like duolingo which help learn any language in most creative way moreover apps like google translate help communicate with instant translations.
On the other hand, living in a country with communication barrier create alot of social problems as people feel isolated from the society, taking no part in social acivitues could result in no friends. Moreover in regarding with practical life, it is huge obstacle as people find it hard to get jobs which create unnecessary stress. Moreover individual could find it hard in paperwork all government paperwork is in langauge they not fimiliar with. For example, with language barrier getting direct traffic instruction is not possible with creates hindrace in basic practical life.
In conclusion, i recognise the various technology benefits with communication but for the long term it creates no affect as daily social and practical life require to communicate in best possible way so living in country with langauge issues will not be usefull.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you argue that living with a language barrier creates serious problems, despite the benefits of translation and learning apps. You address both social and practical effects, including isolation, difficulty finding work, paperwork, and understanding traffic instructions. These are relevant points, and the examples of Duolingo and Google Translate help acknowledge the opposing view. However, some ideas are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the link between limited participation in social activities and having no friends could be developed with a specific situation, while the traffic-instruction example needs clearer explanation. Your conclusion restates your view, but “creates no affect” makes the final point unclear. Develop the consequences of your strongest examples more fully and state your extent of agreement precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting the counterargument, a paragraph explaining the problems, and a conclusion. The contrast signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” helps readers follow the main direction. Within paragraphs, however, connections are sometimes mechanical or unclear. “Moreover” is repeated, and the sentence beginning “Moreover in regarding with practical life” does not clearly connect the job difficulty to the paperwork point. Some references are also difficult to follow, such as “that problem” in the introduction and “which creates hindrace” in the example. Use fewer repeated linking words and make each paragraph’s ideas progress through clear explanation and examples, with pronouns and linking clauses that identify their references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “social isolation,” “communication barrier,” “government paperwork,” and “instant translations.” These expressions show an attempt to discuss both social and practical consequences. However, a number of spelling errors and inaccurate word choices reduce precision and sometimes make the reader pause: “unfimiliar,” “acivitues,” “langauge,” and “hindrace” are examples. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “daily function,” “agreement in favor on view,” and “creates higher problems.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than trying to make phrases sound formal. Proofread spelling carefully, and build a bank of topic phrases such as “access public services” and “participate in community life” to express your ideas more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast between the two sides and a conditional example with “as people feel isolated.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some sentence structures and agreement patterns are inaccurate. For example, “others believes” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “learning new language become easier” needs an article and a matching verb form. The opening sentence of the second paragraph, “the agreement in favor on view regarding it doesnt cause,” is difficult to parse because its clause structure is incomplete or confused. There are also punctuation and capitalization slips, including “i” and missing apostrophes. Practise building clear subject–verb clauses first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
