Student answer (Band 6.0)
It has been observed that, living miles away from own country where speaking foreign language and meet people at a global level is considered as a successful growth. Although some people believe that speaking foreign language have some noticeable issues in daily lifestyle and in professional life also. I agree the given statement to a large extent. My inclination is elaborated in ensuring paragraph and relevant examples.
The foremost argument to justify my stand is that people living in a foreign country may struggle to communicate with native speakers, while local citizens may also find it difficult to understand their language or accent. The appropriate example to explain this statement is Indians in different part of the world, in many overseas country where indians work or travel as a visitor may be find struggle to buy some basic items such as ordering coffee and buying small biscuit packet from local shop because sometimes shop owner cannot understand some words and accent and vica versa.
Furthermore, the other reason to prove my point is people working in a foreign country or dealing with international clients mays struggle to understand each other's requirements and workplace expectations because of language barriers. In the other words for many individuals it is hard to communicate in native language of particular nation with high professional level vocabulory and sentences. Despite the fact that many people are supportive and explain in simple english, there are some people such as adult who might have difficulties to explain in english. For instance, nowadays many pakistani and indians prefer to go for a study and work in germany because it is affordable and safe country live, nonetheless in some field like in pharmaceutical industry in the regulatory affairs department it becomes mendatory for them to understand rules and guidelines in german, prepare documents in german and deal with domestic clients in german. As a result overseas people always need translator and to provide rewarding work they need to learn native language properly.
In conclusion, there are two main reason why langauge cause some serious issues in social and practical life. First many local and foreigners find hard to understand how to communicate and understand what they really want from each other, second in corporate world individuals find hard to understand the local advance language where they live and it cause some serious problem sometimes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you agree to a large extent, and both body paragraphs address practical and professional difficulties caused by language barriers. The examples—struggling to buy everyday items and needing German for regulatory work—are relevant and help explain your view. This covers the task well, and the professional example is particularly specific. However, the social-problem aspect is less fully explored: the first paragraph focuses mainly on transactions and mutual understanding, rather than explaining broader effects such as isolation or difficulty forming friendships. The opening also introduces the idea that speaking a foreign language can represent successful growth, but this point is not developed or clearly connected to your argument. Developing these ideas more evenly would make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two reason-based body paragraphs, and a conclusion that restates the main points. The progression from everyday communication to workplace demands is logical, and examples are placed alongside the claims they support. You also use linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “For instance,” and “As a result.” At times, however, these links feel mechanical or do not accurately signal the relationship between ideas; “In the other words,” for example, introduces an explanation rather than a restatement. Some sentences contain several connected points, making the progression harder to follow, particularly in the German-workplace example. Use clearer sentence boundaries and more precise referencing so readers can follow each claim without having to infer its connection.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “language barriers,” “workplace expectations,” “native speakers,” and “regulatory affairs.” These terms help you discuss both everyday and professional communication, and the German example shows an attempt to use specific subject vocabulary. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, as in “successful growth,” “find struggle,” “affordable and safe country live,” and “provide rewarding work.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “vocabulory,” “mendatory,” and “langauge,” also reduce precision. The intended meaning is generally recoverable, but these issues make the writing less fluent. Focus on learning common word partnerships and checking spelling and forms, especially in phrases that carry your main argument.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “while,” “because,” and “although,” and you can communicate the main argument despite grammatical problems. However, complex structures are often not controlled accurately, and errors recur across the response. Examples include “speaking foreign language have,” “may be find struggle,” and “there are two main reason,” where agreement or verb forms are incorrect. Articles and sentence construction also need attention: “from own country” and the opening sentence’s “It has been observed that, living miles away…” are awkwardly formed. Several long sentences combine multiple ideas without clear punctuation, especially in the workplace example. Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them, checking agreement, articles, and punctuation.
