Student answer (Band 5.5)
In a country, where you living if you talk with people in foreign language there some issues occur. But also some benefits which they have through this language and other's can't
The people who speak different language in their country where they are living can cause some considerable issues. Like, they can't familiar with the society, even though if they want to work the foreign language may create hurdles in their way. The problems as they said, they can't communicate with the people, they share their thoughts and ideas. The relations which they made aren't go further.
In my perspective, if you speak foreign, it may help you to explore more opportunities, to gather more info which other can't. They have more access to jobs, to discuss with those people who can understand you they can share their experience about their lives. People can do work with the foreign countries while living in the country where there language is different from others. People have Global opportunities for discoveries and for Knowledge.
In Pakistan, where Urdu is the native language but if speak English simultaneously with the Urdu, you can gather more options or opportunities. they can talk or join with different people, which are different from others. According to my knowledge, People feel more upper class than their people who speak their local language. In our Country, these kind of people who communicate in different language, people see with different vision.
Overall, there are pros and cons of speaking foreign language in the country where you are living.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both the difficulties and possible benefits of using a foreign language, and the Pakistan example gives the response some relevant context. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening mentions benefits, the second paragraph focuses on problems, and the conclusion only says there are “pros and cons” without stating how far you agree with the claim about serious social and practical problems. Several points, such as difficulty forming relationships and gaining access to jobs, are relevant but are asserted rather than explained or illustrated. To strengthen the response, state your degree of agreement clearly and develop a few key ideas with specific explanations or examples linked directly to social or practical consequences.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to problems, benefits, a Pakistan example, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some organisation, and phrases such as “In my perspective” signal a shift in viewpoint. However, the overall progression is not clear because the relationship between the problems and benefits is not explained, and the final paragraph introduces social status without connecting it clearly to the earlier argument. Linking is also sometimes mechanical or unclear, as in “Like” and “According to my knowledge,” while repeated references to “people” make the flow less smooth. Use topic sentences that identify each paragraph’s main point, then connect examples explicitly to that point and to your overall position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “communicate,” “hurdles,” “opportunities,” and “native language,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations are unnatural or imprecise, such as “gather more info,” “more upper class,” and “see with different vision.” Repetition of “people,” “language,” and “opportunities” also limits flexibility. Aim for more precise collocations and avoid informal or vague expressions; for example, explain what kind of information or opportunities you mean. More accurate phrasing would make your ideas easier to follow and help you discuss social and practical effects with greater precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use clauses to explain causes and consequences, but the range is limited and many sentences contain errors that make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “where you living,” “there some issues occur,” “they can't familiar with the society,” and “The relations which they made aren't go further.” These show problems with verb forms, sentence construction, and agreement. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “People,” “Knowledge,” and the run-on sequence “they can share their experience about their lives.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check that each sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb before adding more detail.
