The chart below shows the percentage of households in owned and rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The given bar chart illustrates the ratio of households in owned and rented accommodation in england and wales between 1918 and 2011 :

In 1918, 21% of households are in owned accomodation whereas 75% of households are in owned accomodation. On the other hand, in 1939, 31% of households are in owned accomodation whereas 69% of households are in rented accomodation. Whereas in 1953 32% of households are in owned accomodation whereas 69% of houses were in rented accomodation

In 1961, 40% of households are in owned accomodation, whereas, 59% households are in rented accomodation. On the other hand in 1971, both the rented and owned household accomodation is 50%,

In 1981, the percentile of households in owned accomodation is 60% whereas the ratio households in rented accomodation is 40% ,whereas in 1991, the ratio of households in owned accomodation is upto 70%.

In 1991, about 68% of houses are in owned accomodation whereas in the same year about 32% of households are in rented accomodation
