The chart below shows the percentage of households in owned and rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar graph presents the percentage of households in owned and rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 to 2011.
Overall, in 1918 the percentage of households in rented accommodation was very high as compared to other years, furthermore in 2001 percentage of households in owned accommodation is very high as compared to other years.
On the other hand, in 1918 the percentage of households in owned accommodation was 77% followed by this in 1939 to 1953 the percentage is equal that is 68%. Furthermore in 1961 the percentage is 59% and after in 1971 to 2001 the percentage decreasing slighly around 50 to 31 percent, however in 2011 the percentage is increased approx 37.
On the other hand, in 1918 the percentage of households in owned accommodation is just 22% followed by this in 1939 to 1953 the percentage is equal that is 32%. Furthermore in 1961 the percent is 41% and after in 1971 to 2001 the percentage rising slowly is around 50 to 69 percent, however in 2011 the percentage is decreased to approx 63.
