The chart below shows the percentage of households in owned and rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The chart illustrates the percentage of households in owned and rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011.
Overall, the highest rented accommodation in 1918 and the fewest in 2001. The highest owned accommodation in 2001 and the least one in 1918. both was same accounted in 1971.
overall, over the years , house hold in rented accommodation was dramatically decreased and owned accommodation sharply increased. both met at same level in 1971.
In first half portion, households in own accommodation accounted at 23% and rented makeup approximately at 77% in 1918 which one highest in all the years. In 1939, own accommodation increased and accounted 32% and rented decrease at 68% after 14 years both remained same. In 1961, owned accommodation represents about 59% and rented accommodation represents at 41%. after the decade in 1971, both rented and owned accounted same at 50%.
In second half portion, owned accommodation overtook rented accommodation at 60% in 1981. over the years owned accommodation slightly increased and reached nearly at 69% which one the highest owned accommodation in 2001 and rented accounted at 31% which one the lowest rented accommodation in 2001. after the decade, owned accommodation makeup at 64% and rented accommodation makeup at 36%.
