Student answer (Band 6.5)
Currently, it is believed that there are a lot of options available in every areas such as entertainment, education, work and others. I agree with the statement that mentions having too many choices because of the availability of options in everything ranging from various work opportunities to choose from, to the applications to use within those workplaces.
Firstly, people today have a lot of employment options, with work and roles available across different industries. Even within a single sector, and within the department in that sector considerable number of alternative job roles are available. For example, within finance industry itself, there are investment banking, corporate banking and such, and within those there are different department such as sales, social media and analysis. The situation is similar in the education industry as well, as students currently have options to pursue different majors namely English, Education, Technology, Finance and even multiple together in some cases.
In addition to that, even the sources of entertainment have many choices. People can choose to watch either soap operas, dramas, movies, either through their phones, laptops or via cinema halls. Furthermore, the globalization itself has widened the options, as evident by the fact that a person today in India can watch a show from the US in their own native language i.e. Hindi. This makes it evident that everyone today have the opportunity to explore different choices in every domain available.
To sum up, there are indeed a lot of choices to pick at the present. This is good in the sense that people can try different things and pick one that they feel most comfortable with.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position and providing relevant examples in the fields of employment, education, and entertainment. However, the development is somewhat limited. While you mention that having too many choices is a reality, you do not fully explore the 'too many' aspect—specifically the potential negative consequences or the 'paradox of choice' (e.g., decision paralysis or anxiety). The ideas are relevant but remain at a descriptive level rather than an analytical one. To reach a higher band, you should balance your examples with a deeper discussion of the implications of this phenomenon.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'In addition to that', and 'To sum up' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel repetitive. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and better referencing to avoid repeating the same sentence structures. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using topic-specific terms like 'globalization', 'employment options', and 'industries'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'in every areas' (should be 'in every area') and 'within the department in that sector considerable number' (missing articles). The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and ensuring correct pluralization and article usage when discussing general concepts.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that slightly distract the reader. Examples include 'everyone today have' (subject-verb agreement error: should be 'has'), 'within finance industry' (missing article: 'the finance industry'), and 'multiple together' (awkward phrasing). While these errors do not impede communication, they occur regularly. To achieve a higher score, you need to demonstrate more consistent control over complex structures and pay closer attention to subject-verb agreement, article usage, and prepositional phrases.
