Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 182 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you clearly state your position in the introduction, the arguments provided are underdeveloped. For instance, you mention 'advancement in technology' and 'marketing', but the explanation remains superficial and lacks sufficient supporting evidence or logical depth. The conclusion is also incomplete, as the text ends abruptly mid-sentence. To improve, you must expand on your points with specific examples and ensure the essay is fully completed to meet the length requirement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay shows some attempt at logical organization with an introduction and body paragraphs. However, the progression of ideas is hindered by the incomplete nature of the text. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Firstly' and 'Additionally', but they are sometimes used mechanically or incorrectly, such as 'On the other hand there is no paradox that'. Paragraphing is present, but the final paragraph is unfinished, which disrupts the overall flow and coherence of the argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, fully developed focus will help improve your score.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is somewhat limited and contains several inaccuracies. You use words like 'plethora' and 'micellaneous' (likely intending 'miscellaneous'), but the latter is misspelled and used incorrectly in context. Phrases like 'have belief that' and 'marketing the brands products' show issues with collocation and grammatical form. While you attempt to use a range of vocabulary, the frequent errors in word choice and spelling occasionally impede the clarity of your message. Focus on learning the correct collocations and practicing the spelling of more complex words to enhance your lexical range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Examples include 'supporting towards my viewpoints', 'there is more competitions', and 'for people can have elementary'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and the abrupt ending of the essay. These errors are frequent and sometimes make the reader work harder to understand your intended meaning. You should focus on subject-verb agreement, correct preposition usage, and ensuring that your sentence structures are complete and grammatically sound.
