Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in agreement with the statement. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. While you mention education and career choices as examples, the explanation remains superficial. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the consequences of having 'too many choices'—such as decision fatigue or the paradox of choice—rather than simply stating that choices exist. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not effectively synthesize the main points discussed in the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For instance, phrases like 'Due the modern world' and 'present of digital technology' are used in ways that disrupt the flow. While there is a logical progression from the introduction to the body paragraphs, the transitions between sentences are sometimes abrupt. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words (e.g., 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' 'in contrast') would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word forms, such as 'population diverse' instead of 'population diversity' and 'unlimited viability of commodity' instead of 'unlimited availability of commodities'. You rely on basic vocabulary, and some collocations are unnatural. To improve, focus on learning word families and common collocations, and ensure you are using words in their correct grammatical context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include missing articles (e.g., 'in modern-day world'), incorrect prepositions (e.g., 'due the'), and subject-verb agreement errors (e.g., 'most of the people have freedom to the choices and decision they made'). While the meaning is generally understandable, these recurring errors prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with articles and prepositional phrases.
