Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by agreeing that there are too many choices today, focusing on education and career. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention that choices help people push their limits, the explanation is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. The examples provided, such as musicians sacrificing studies, are relevant but could be more clearly linked to the central argument of 'too many choices' versus 'having opportunities'. The position is clear, but the argument would benefit from more nuanced exploration of why having 'too many' choices might be a negative or positive phenomenon.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Another one, which shows...' is an awkward transition. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'everything needs are equally', which makes the logical progression difficult to follow. While there is a clear introduction and conclusion, the internal flow between sentences within paragraphs is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors and imprecise linking words.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is adequate for the task but lacks precision. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'global turn around digitally' instead of 'digital transformation' and 'make successful' instead of 'become successful'. You also use 'employeement' (spelling error) and 'sacrifies' (spelling error). While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of control over word forms and collocations limits the score. To improve, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring correct word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'Some individuals thinks' and 'today generation have'. Articles are often missing or misused, and there are errors in pluralization, such as 'many peoples'. Punctuation is generally functional, but the high frequency of grammatical errors throughout the text makes it difficult for the reader to follow the argument smoothly. A greater focus on basic grammatical accuracy is required.
