Student answer (Band 5.0)

I truly agree with the statement as we really have a lot of choices In the sense of our career. Nowadays there are different technologies with the vast fields that allow a person to make his career in that fields. For example artificial intelligence, cyber security and many more. If I compare this with the past students they has very selective options like doctor engineer or pilot., but now a days the game is totally changed and I think it's really very innovative and good for our careers that we can not just limited to the old fields... We can make our own command in the unique aura of the world.

I am very amazed to share my recent experience when I saw the hollow slots in the medical colleges . Why? Because todays student are aware of all the fields they know that there are many other option other than the traditional way of becoming a doctor only.if I specifically talked about medical it takes 5 years to become a doctor and after that it take many years to become a experienced professional. On the other hand there are slots of skills and courses that can make you financially stable and a good command keeper in your field with in just few months of a year.. So I really agreed with the statement that a person really have a lots option and choice s in expect of our fields other than many other decisions of our life .. So I really agree

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear agreement with the statement that we have too many choices, specifically focusing on career paths. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide examples like AI and cybersecurity, the discussion remains repetitive and lacks depth. The argument regarding medical students is a good attempt at providing a concrete example, but the explanation of why this happens is slightly underdeveloped. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-supported point rather than restating the same general agreement multiple times.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into two main paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is often disjointed. Transitions between sentences are frequently missing or mechanical, such as the repetitive use of 'So I really agree' to conclude thoughts. The referencing is sometimes unclear, and the logical progression is hindered by the lack of cohesive devices. For instance, the transition from discussing career fields to the specific example of medical colleges feels abrupt. Improving the use of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') would significantly enhance the logical flow of your arguments.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'a lot of choices' and 'good for our careers'. There are also some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'unique aura of the world' and 'command keeper', which do not convey the intended meaning clearly. While your meaning is generally understandable, you should aim to use more academic vocabulary and precise collocations to express your ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'students they has'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'it take many years'), and punctuation errors. Additionally, there are several instances of informal phrasing and run-on sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency. Increasing the variety of complex structures while maintaining accuracy will help you achieve a higher score.
